Woke up with a male nurse as side of me making observations in the recovery room, got upset and told him thank you so much I’m sending you all chocolate and flowers haha.

Then the surgeons assistant came in and had a look at me and asked how I was. Mega thumbs up. Got wheeled to my room where two nurses helped me shimmy across to my bed where I was super toastie and comfortable. I was very spaced out at this point. Nurse took my blood pressure and checked my pulse then fetched my other half back in. Then she just checked me I think every half hour. Had drains in for 3hrs before another nurse came in and removed them and the cannula. Drain removal not painful one bit just stung a little on my left side. More painful taking tape holding my cannula off.

Got dressed at this point with help from my partner. Nurse came in with mess explained how to take then etc and we were on our way out. That was 5:00pm
