Why did you want the procedure?
I have always wanted a BA since I had my little boy 5 years ago, I was always a 32c then went to a 32d/dd breastfeeding and shrunk back to a 32b so I had little empty sacks I would say ( or spaniels ears ha ha). I have only now been in a financial position to go for it and wanted to wait for my little boy to be a bit older.
Why did you choose MYA?
I choose MYA because I have a client at work that has used them and they look great, I’m a beauty therapist and see a lot of women that have had BAS so quizzed them all and went for a couple of consultations but found Faye the PC in Bristol lovely and loved this forum.
How was your consultation?
My initial consultation with one surgeon wasn’t great as I just felt quite uncomfortable and I knew my boobs were pretty rubbish hence was I was there but definetly felt worse after. Fay then said I should meet Mr Singh, he is amazing as soon as I walked in the room I felt at ease I was his last consultation of the day so he had had such a long day but still had so much time for me and was so professional asking a lot of Heath questions which I didn’t get asked in my first consultation and really explained his reasons for what he thought I should have done. I then went for a second consultation with him as it was hard to remember what to ask with the first one and he was just as lovely. He has loads of experience too 🙂
How was the day of your procedure?
The day of my procedure was actually quite a nice day after all the worrying and nearly cancelling because I was so scared it was fine my admission time was 9 and I had my surgery at half 10. I was a day case and stayed till about 7 as I had low blood pressure so was a bit sick… The staff could not do enough for you the nurses are amazing and Mr Singh made me feel at ease. I had never had a general anaesthetic ( I was so scared I would never wake up and see my little boy again) but it was the weirdest, nicest thing one min the nurse said I would feel something in my body then that was it I was woken up by another lovely lady. It’s definetly nothing to worry about although I think I had stayed over night now.
How was your recovery?
So I’m only on day 1 post op so can’t say much I actaully slept well sitting up with about a million pillows but to be honest I can barely move my arms and move to well but as long as I keep on the painkillers I’m fine resting. I feel like I have an elephant strapped to my chest though and they are rock hard!
Are you happy with your results?
So far so I will update this as I’m still strapped up.
