I was a day case – admitted at 12, op at 3 and discharged at 8 🙂 I stayed in a hotel 10 mins away from the hospital the first night as I live in newcastle and you have to be within an hours drive of the hospital for your first night. I went to my clinic to have my packing out on day 2 🙂 Xx

I had Dr Andrea as I had open with alar base reduction and he seems to do more open/bigger changes I think. I also found him really lovely from the start and had seen loads of good pictures and reviews which helped me decide! Hi Leah 🙂 the pain for me wasn’t bad at all! The worst it got for me was a slight headache the first night after the op but apart from then I didn’t need to take any painkillers at any time. I certainly looked a lot worse than I felt! Xx

He told me he prefers open as it allows him to be more precise as he can see more of the nose and be able to structure it well again to minimize any risk of collapse xx

I had rhinoplasty with Dr Andrea on 10/05/16 and it was the best decision I’ve made! I absolutely love my results and couldn’t recommend Dr Andrea enough! I have some pictures on my profile on here xxx

@janie2005 me too, my first consultation I felt physically sick knowing I was going to have to talk about my nose! Sounds silly but it’s not something I’m used to talking about but it feels like a weight off my shoulders having met dr andrea and finally booked in, I felt instantly at ease and can’t wait for it now! Im having open on 10th may 🙂 xxx

Hi @lizziehannah, dr andrea prefers to do only open procedures as he believes it gives a better results. Frati seems to do a lot more closed but 99% of dr andrea’s are open xx
