The strap removal waxing was like torture! The nurse reccommended baby oil on cotton wool and gently dabbing off the residue. It worked and moisturised the dry skin left behind. It may take a day or so to get it all off. I think she also reccommended E45.

I got measured today (I’m naughty) and found a comfy bra so I’m going to alternate the sports and normal bra for a few days. I need the wire and padding support now. I am C cup, yay 🙂 🙂

You have a MRSA swab at the Pre op with the nurse. You’d only be at risk of having it if you’ve been in hospital or had an op recently.
I’d imagine if you have MRSA you won’t be able to have any surgery and you’d have to treat and be free from it before you can have a medical procedure due to the risk it will pose after the op.

I never thought I’d be complemented on my boobs, lol.

I’m 7WPO and doing ok. I have random odd niggles like the drain site being sensitive, itchy skin and weird sensations around the stitches, but these are short term woes.

I’m really happy so far and can’t wait to get measured so I can wear a proper ta again.

I started taking them on the day (after my op). As they tell you to cut meds on the run up (depending on the surgeon and nurse) I wanted a ‘clean start’. I don’t know if they helped as I don’t normally bruise and thankfully didn’t this time either.

No problem. Tried on a bra today and it’s really uncomfortable so the nurse was spot on. (It was a C cup uplift bra). I had Dr Frati. He did a great job.

I had 250cc under, am 5’2″ and about 9 stone. I had extremely empty 34 A cups and hope to be a C. I had surgery on the 20th Dec and had a checkup yesterday. They still have a teeny way to drop so I can’t get measured just yet.
There’s not really any difference between those two sizes.

Sorry you’re suffering. I also had unders and found I had morning stiffness consistently for about two weeks, but it did ease off during that time. I didn’t sleep on my back before so it’s taken a long time and pillows to get used to it. Did you get muscle relaxers as they help for the mornings also.

MYA recommended Macom, but Marks and Spencer, Amazon, Ebay, New Chic, H&M and Primark all do zip front sports bras. The nurse will go through the best bra and what you’ll need, but you’ll need a couple (at least) as you’ll have to live in them for 6 weeks.

Did you have unders? I takes a while for you to adjust to the extra weight. I was hunched for around 2 weeks. I find the cold is not helpful as the body goes into protection mode around the new additions.

I’m 2 WPO and had two days of itchy nipple. I feel like they’ve swelled and squeezed due to the cold which made them itch. I use baby oil to moisturise in the same places as Fran mentions.
I’m not brave enough to get measured until week 6ish.

I’ve added you. I have Round Moderate Profile. Mr Fratti has done a fantastic job. I was worried when he came to see me before surgery and he drew on me Zorro style. He’s efficient!

I had an antibiotic plus Robaxin (a muscle relaxer) and Co-dydramol (a pain killer). The reccommendation was to take the pain meds two hours apart, but if there was no pain don’t take em. I’ve lost about half a stone through this process. I mentioned to the nurse that I’d lost me appetite and she said it was a side effect of the meds.
