I haven’t had my surgery yet but I had covid before I was fully vaccinated and was fine! Bit of a headache and tired but that’s all. I can understand the anxiety about getting it so soon after surgery but try and stay away from your dad and you will most likely be fine either way 😀

Harley – I’m also booked in at bmi wroughton, but with a different surgeon in December. I’m so nervous! Would really appreciate an update on how it all went for you and how you found the hospital, good luck on the 18th x

So from what Iv read on here recovery with overs seem to be much easier but Iv seen how much it varies for people! The only date my surgeon can do is 22nd December, am I mad to think I will be ok for Christmas??
I have young kids, and we have family over on the day, although my husband can cook (with my direction 😂)

Was wondering if anyone had young children and how they found the recovery? My husband is able to have 2 weeks off to help but after that I’m on my own 😬
Mine are 1 and 2 so still a lot of lifting, running around after them. Hoping to have overs, will I cope by 2 weeks post op?

Yeah Dr Traynor does also sound great from what girls on here have said but he’s mainly based up north isn’t he? I wanted to have a consultation in Birmingham as that’s where one of the clinics for Dr Frati but they’ve booked me in for Bristol as they said it doesn’t matter at this stage!
Anyone had this?

After reading so much on here about Dr Frati, I sort of have my heart set on going with him. I booked my initial consultation today but was told to go to my nearest clinic which he doesn’t work out of it but was told it doesn’t matter at this stage. Has anyone done this?
