The day of my procedure went fast we drove there in the morning as I was to be there at 8 I was taken to theatre at 11.20 I had seen lots of different people all asking questions so made me feel secure that everyone was doing there best for me I had to stay overnight because of my uplift but I was very comfy and was very well looked after. I saw a few nurses which all looked after me well as its an awkward place to be in away from home on my own. The lady who came to fetch me wasn’t best pleased as my boyfriend had been asleep at the bottom of my bed as he drove me down for 2 hours he needed a nap bless him, she said he would contaminate my bed and shouldn’t be on it poor lad soon moved lol. all in all a very tiring day. when I woke up I couldn’t wait to eat I was starving not eaten since the night before my nurse bought me some biscuits and a cup of tea and some pain relief.
