@vickyleigh I was only discharged with paracetamol and ibuprofen (and a weeks course of antibiotics), not sure why I wasn’t given codine but I stopped with the pain relief after about 5 days. I feel fine really, just a bit achy towards the end of the day x

I feel quite well thanks, not in as much pain as I thought I’d be. My husband has taken a week off too. My youngest is 2 and likes to be carried a lot so it’s been hard and we’ve had a few tears. There defo is no right time, its best to just grin and bare it I guess x

Hi, I got an adjustable bed backrest from Argos for £22.99. It’s been fab and sleeping has been pretty good. I’ve been told to sleep at a 45 degree angle for a minimum of 2 weeks and then it’s okay to sleep flat on my back. Hope it’s nothing serious? I bought an angled back rest from Argos for sleeping and a v pillow and I’ve slept fairly well really. Can’t wait to sleep on my side though lol x

Yeah I’ve been taking it easy, and had a good 3hr nap this afternoon. I feel more tender under my arms than anywhere but the pain is nowhere near what I was expecting. Hopefully we’ll both have easy recoveries lol x

So I had my surgery yesterday at Preston with Mr Traynor. My admission was 3pm but only went down at 5.30pm. All the nurses and medical staff were lovely and thorough. The anaesthetic was so easy and before I knew it I was being woke up at 6.55pm. I had some sickness so only got discharged about 10.20pm.

I go away 12 weeks after my surgery and I’m guessing the rules will be similar to bras which I think is no underwire until after 12 weeks. Although I know some other ladies had been told that underwires are fine from 6 weeks but not to wear all day. I’ll be asking the nurse in my post op. I can’t wait to wear some lovely new swimwear 🙂 x

Hi @lisalou84 I’ve not had any luck yet, I’ve been told to ring back Monday but I’m not feeling hopeful. I’m just hoping I’m the only 3pm admission and that the rest of the surgeries in the day don’t run over ???? I can’t believe it’s on Tuesday, it’s not sunk in yet lol x

I’ve just had an email with my admission time and gutted it’s 3pm 🙁 has anyone else had this time and what time did you end up getting home? I really don’t want them to say I’ve got to stay over night due to it being too late to be discharged. Also it means my hubby can’t come with me now as he’ll have stay home to put the kids to bed 🙁

Thanks for the reply Zoe. I was offered anything from 275-375 but in my head I always thought I’d go for a 300cc. It’s very confusing lol. Think I will go back and try on other sizes. Let me know what your surgeon says please x

I’ve just had my consultation and tried on the 375cc sizers which I liked. But I’m only an empty 34a and not much breast tissue. I’m hoping to achieve a C cup. Are there any ladies out there who’ve had similar implants and what size do you now measure? I’ve been offered 375cc HP under muscle. Thanks in advance x
