My story…

I arrived at Preston to check in at 8.30. I was taken to my room and seen by the nurse, anaesthetist and Mr Traynor to draw on my boobs. Everyone was so friendly and kept me updated on my time.

I went to theatre at 11.15. One of the veins in my hand ruptured trying to put the canula in which hurt a little but nothing too bad. The anaesthetist took over and did my other hand and all was fine. I was given an oxygen mask and took some deep breaths. The anaesthetist gave me the GA and said good night and see you soon. I didn’t realise they didn’t tell me but in a way I am glad as it meant I did not panic. The next thing I remember is being awake and being put back into my bed. I don’t remember the recovery room.

My boobs felt tight and I snuck a little peek. I was not in pain at all which I was pleasantly surprised with! I dozed for a couple of hours and was quite cold so had some blankets. I was made yummy jam on toast as I was starved, and a little later a cheese salad sandwich which was also delish.

My mum couldn’t come and get me until 6 so I just put my jamas on and relaxed and watched tv. My experience at preston today was fab! Everyone was friendly, reassuring and helped me to be put at ease.

My boobs are awesome. I am doing a boob diary so if you want to see my progress add me and message me. The girls who were kind enough to do that for me helped me so much!

I am now in bed. Although I am swollen and my boobs feel tight and bruised. I am comfortable and can tell I am going to love the result! Thanks Mr Traynor you legend! I would highly recommend mr traynor to anyone. Also a huge thanks to Lauren at the Manchester clinic who was just a star helping me to sort out my finance and get my BA sorted.
