I am 6 months post op and found that my scars have not faded. They are very dark almost look black in some lighting and just a mess. Anyone else had this issue? Is it normal? No they were symmetrical prose didn’t need different sizes implants. I’m 8 weeks post op now and they’re still uneven 😭

I woke up in agony but the nurses gave me plenty of analgesia and I spent a really comfortable night in hospital. When I got home I was just really sore for a few days, within a week I felt fine, just sore to touch. I think keeping on top of my pain killers really helped, so I would suggest to anyone to take their analgesia regularly xx

It sounds like these are just where the surgeon has knotted them. I would leave them be as they will fall off on their own eventually.

I dont think they can do breast enlargement without GA but they do use LA to help with the pain xx

Hi I had my surgery 5 weeks ago this Monday. I was a 34aa and had 400cc HP unders and now I think I’m a d cup. I also went to Preston and the staff there were so nice, they made me feel really comfortable.

Hi Jess, thanks for replying! I did end up contacting the clinic, the nurse said it could he a side effect of the antibiotics i was prescribed, she was right as I feel much better now after finishing the tablets xx

I had my BA on the 12th and felt fine for the first few days apart from the pain which I managed with analgesia. For the last 4 days now however I have been having nausea intermittently. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I contact the clinic?

I was meant to have my surgery on the 6th then it was rescheduled to the 12th as my surgeon had to have a covid swab. I’ve been making myself sick with worry that its going to get cancelled again last minute. But I’m also worried about returning to work as now I only have a week off!

I booked the procedure at the start of June and still havn’t been given a pre-op date. Just wondering if those of you who’ve booked procedures this automne/ winter have had your pre op dates?

I thought that they would test us on arrival or during the pre-op apppintment, as I know the NHS can get the results back within a few hours. I’m surprised that we have to do it ourselves?! Did MYA give you these instructions?

It might depend on the surgeon. Maybe it would be worth enquiring to them about. I will warn you though that I had to send them pictures of my breasts via email which I was really nervous about x

Hi, I think it depends on how far away you live from the hospital. If you live down the road there shouldn’t be any issues with returning to the hospital if anything goes wrong after you’ve been discharged. I was offered day case but only if I stayed at a local hotel, I’ve decided to stay overnight because I don’t want to take any chances.
