That’s not good! I don’t want want my nipples falling out ha! In boux Avenue I was measured but different styles I had to have different sizes. So I brought a 32dd and 32E, that was 6 weeks post op. Now I’m 4 months post op and get serious nip slip in the dd, the E is so much better.

I got measured in boux Avenue as a 32E, but I haven’t got an Ann Summers near me to get measured with them, but have fell in love with some bras with them online.
A friend mentioned she brought a bra from Ann Summers years ago and it was really small sizing!

@staceymlx So glad you said 6 months to a year. I’m now 4 months post op, yes they are softer but I don’t think they have fully dropped and fluffed so glad to see it can take longer x

Yes it varies person to person I’m a size 6/8 was a 32a had 335 cc 9 weeks ago and was measured as a E at 6 weeks, but still expecting change with drop n fluff x

I had 335 unders as that was max I could have due to my size and other factors, so went with it as it was largest offered. I was barely an A cup and am now a DD/E. I would say go 350 as there really isn’t much difference between the two xx

Hi I’m only 8 weeks P.O. today so am behind you. I have similar situation, but it’s my right one that has dropped lovely and my left that still looks stuck on and round, even though I’m right handed.
I know it’s still early days but I’m so impatient and want to know when to expect them both to be fully dropped x

hopefully you will get what you want, but the surgeons do know best. If too big an implant it can cause lots of issues, so the surgeons know best. 335 is the max I could have, and I think it’s big enough for my frame xx

Hi I was wearing a 32 A and am approx 8 stone 3 and 5”5. I waited until I saw surgeon to see what they suggested because it depends on a lot of factors for what size implant.

Brilliant thank you, I thought nurse said on my first check that it was 6 weeks as long as incisions are fine, as I asked at first check as I desperately miss having a relaxing bath!

Honestly the swelling goes down loads! I’m 6 weeks post op today, I got upset last week as they looked really small! But a few days later they changed again.

Yes I have strong muscles too as I’m a nurse with heavy lifting and moving of patients, so my nurse did say it may take longer for them to drop n fluff.
Only past couple of days I’ve thought they look
Small. Yes did try on a bra and looked much better in one as these sports bras seem to flatten them down x

I had it the other way round, I’m right handed so that’s my stronger side. But it was my left boob that got the pains and felt more uncomfortable.

Think it would depend, if wheb you saw your surgeon you said you definitely wanted a size say 350 then that’s what it would be. But if between you and your surgeon you said you was unsure on say 2/3 sizes they generally order all sizes in for your op day and then you can say then. X

Thank you for all of your replies! I did wonder if at 6 weeks I’d be ready to wear a normal bra. I will only buy one when I can and give it a go, but probably sounds like I’ll be best buying more sports bras ha xx

I’ve been told you can’t wear underwired bras for a while. So where is the best place to get measured and where does nice non wired bras?
All the ones I see online that are pretty seem to be underwired xx

I had 335 unders nearly 4 weeks ago, I’m really skinny. Mine at the min are measuring an E but not been properly measured, but I’ve been told implants so measure bigger. You wouldn’t say I’m an E! They’re definitely not too big for my frame.

I’m nearly 4 weeks po and in the mornings they still feel heavy as such for a few minutes, but not painful now . I asked if this was normal and nurse assured me that it was perfectly normal for quite a few weeks after surgery. Xx

Michelle I really can’t wait to wear a normal bra!
We had nice weather for a couple of days and these bras just aren’t nice under summer clothes!
I’m 3 weeks post op today so another 3 weeks of these surgery bras. But at least I will be in normal bras by summer. Xx

I have been wearing Macom or the Asda surgery bras which don’t have cup sizes, I’m now 3 weeks post op and found both to be just as good as each other.

Honestly I think I had it easy. I only took paracetamol for a few days, nothing stronger. I was bracing myself for horrendous pain, but worse bit for me was how sore my bum got from sleeping at an angle!
I had to have unders I didn’t have a choice because of lack of muscle x

Claire I didn’t go with Mya as when I called there was a longer wait than I wanted. I literally had my op just over 2 weeks after meeting my surgeon. He knew I was certain and had waited years, he had a space so I jumped at it x
