Patient Story

Why did you want the procedure?

I have always hated my body shape. I have never been ‘big’ as such, but my bum and legs have always been slightly bigger. I have always hated my boobs and since being younger always wanted them bigger to ‘even’ it out. I had no self confidence, and felt like a boy everyte I was in underwear or a bikini…
Why did you choose MYA?

I did a lot of research into this, but found after countless reviews that MYA came out on top. I spoke to someone on the phone and within two days had my initial consultation. I never knew id be this comfortable with giving someone control over what my body looks like, neither did I think id be so excited rather than nervous.
MYA made me feel comfortable right from the get go and I haven’t looked back since that phone call.
How was your consultation?

My consultation was a breeze! MY PC and Dr Frati both made me feel so comfortable and at ease. All of my questions were answered and I didn’t have any worries when I walked out of the door.
How was the day of your procedure?

The day of my procedure was amazing! A friend came with me and we had such a laugh. I wasn’t scared or nervous, just excited to have it all done and see the finished product! Everyone was so friendly and made me feel so welcome, I couldn’t complain about anything or anyone. They really looked after myself and even my friend who came with me. The room was comfortable and the time flew by. When I was being put under, my Anaesthetist was chatting way and making me laugh.. next thing I know im waking up! I woke up with ice packs and it couldn’t have felt nicer. Even then I was so comfortable. I didn’t have much pain at all to be honest, the adrenaline took over I think… I went back up to my room to my friend and laptop, and we watched some tv online. I was dying for a cup of tea and something to eat ass I hadnt had anything since the night before. When the nurse bought my tea in, I wanted to jump up and grab it… but of course I couldn’t… It was amazing, and I couldn’t thank everyone involved enough.
How was your recovery?

My recovery was amazing, not much pain or uncomfortability .. I went to a football match and the pub the next day (which probably wasn’t a great idea) but I felt fine, laughing ached, but for the most part I was comfortable and chilled. Being in the car on bumpy roads hurt a little, but not unbearable. I had a good recovery, couldn’t have gone any better.
Are you happy with your results?

I love my results! Wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you Frati !
