I drank after a few days post op. I was never told I couldn’t, I only knew it wasn’t advised after searching online. But didn’t have any issues, but it was a glass or two at a time. I didn’t go ‘out out’ until a few weeks once I was feeling comfortable.

Yes, one is definitely bigger than the other but as Louise said, it isn’t overly noticeable. What has your surgeon said about your concerns?

This was when I had my bandages off. They were quite high and round at that point, they’ve since dropped quite a bit.

My surgeon follow up (not with mya) is 12 weeks post op 😒 it’s annoying as I want to know if everything is well and healing as it should. I also have so many questions about what is and isn’t normal, am I able to wear wired bras yet…

Nothing I can do about it if he’s busy though :/

I had it really bad too. I’m around 7 weeks post op now and my skin has finally returned to normal, apart from a couple. Before I was covered and was too embarrassed to wear clothing that showed my chest. Oh and my back where the bras sat was really bad too.

I don’t have a six week appointment, it’s booked in for the 12 week mark (I haven’t gone with mya) :/ I have no idea why it’s booked so late. I walked away with three appointments and that was the consultant date given to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well I fall in to the 6 week mark while away and the nurse said no water! She even told me not to paddle incase I fall over in the water 🙄 from what I’ve read online, most advice is three weeks onwards to go swimming. I think me personally, I’ll see how I feel when I get there!

I had overs and was in a lot of pain for the first week, I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t get up off the sofa and I too had horrible sharp pains in my right boob every time I moved my arm or tense my muscles. Week two is much better!!

I ordered a size up. I measured as small so went for medium and I’m glad I did as there is no way I’d have been able to squeeze in to a small, this medium on the last hooks is as tight as I’d happily go.
