I did not have my surgery with mya but I’m sure all surgeons are similar. Had 6 weeks off in total the final two weeks were a fit note from my gp, again just stated post surgery.
I had uplift and implants and fat transfer
Hope this helps

I also had uplift, implant 280cc overs and lipo/ fat transfer. I went from a 34D to a 32 FF/G. You will notice that as implant settles over the first few months it moves lower down pushing the nipple further up. I’m now 9 months post op. Hope this helps

Not only dvt, but if you have any issues with infection or stitches I would recommend being in this country . Suppose it depends on how you feel about risk really, personally I wouldn’t chance it.

I had an uplift, 280cc and fat transfer in September. (Not Mya). I had a few stitches that took a while to dissolve. 3 of them developed stitch abscesses and when they burst the stitch just disappeared . The last one was just a couple of weeeks ago, I went to the nurse who called my surgeon as the skin surrounding my nipple was going…[Read more]

I had my surgery 5 months ago. I was a 34d. I had an uplift a 280cc implant and a fat transfer ( not with mya). I was hoping for a 34dd. I now measure 32 FF / 32G. They do look huge but I’m very happy a small implant goes a long way if you already have boobs

I think it’s just standard practice., nothing to worry about

I took paracetamol every 6 hours for a few days then as and when required. It’s amazing what the body can cope with.

It was a yellowish lump right on my incision, no pain or anything. Anyway it burst the next morning so I went to nurse to have it checked., turned out to be a stitch abscess it’s just the bodies way of getting rid of it if it doesn’t dissolve . I’ve had no issues since.
Hope this help

I was a 34D before my op 11 weeks ago? I had a 280 implant with uplift and fat transfer ( not with mya). I’m now a 32 FF. I think the bigger the implant the more likely they are to sag again. Im so happy with my results, but they are bigger than expected. Still happy though.

You can ask surgeon for a fit note or ask your Gp. They don’t write specifics on it. Mine just said post surgery.

Hope this helps

I am currently just over 5 weeks post op. I had an uplift, 280cc implants and fat transfer. I lived in m&s sports bra and it was so comfortable 36dd then bought 36E as I was bursting out of DD . I also had a macom but didn’t feel it offered much support at first. However, about 2 weeks ago my boobs started to soften / less swollen and I found…[Read more]

I agree with Courtney. M&S post op sports bra (black with pink piping) are great. I would go up in the back size as you will be swollen after the op. So if your a 32 back I would get a 34. . I also have Macom but I haven’t worn it yet as I don’t think it offers as much support.

I was a 34d before my surgery. I had 280cc implant, uplift and fat transfer 3 weeks ago (not with mya). I bought a few m&s post op sports bras 34 DD ( does not fit me yet due to swelling). 36 DD which I do wear but my boobs feel like they want to burst out at the seams. I have now bought a 36 E which feels more comfortable, but when I told my…[Read more]

I only told my hubby. I didn’t tell my parents until I was 3 weeks post op. Just couldn’t be bothered explaining myself to people. Once it was all done and I was recovering well I decided to tell them. They were shocked but fine about it. Too late for them to have an opionion anyway x

Gives very good support but I recommend going up a back size, due to swelling after surgery.

To be honest the pain is not to bad, it’s mostly tight and slight soreness. I managed with taking just paracetamol every 6 hours for 5 days and now I just take 2 before bed. (11 days po). The worst part for me was waking up from the anaesthetic, I had not prepared myself for constantly feeling sick and not being able to eat. I think…[Read more]

I had an uplift, 280cc mod implants and fat transfer on 24th sept. I have lived in m&s sports bra as I feel it offers so much support. I have a Macom which I wear whilst m&s is in wash, but I don’t feel it offers as much support as m&s one. This could be because I opted for a bigger back size and doesn’t feel as secure. I was 34d to start with…[Read more]

I have my surgery this coming week ( not with mya) and I was advised at my pre op that if I need a fit note,I should just ask. Hopefully I won’t need one as I’ve booked 2 weeks off, but nice to know…[Read more]
