I was so worried about my drains being removed but I found it they were more uncomfortable everytime I got up to go to the loo. X

I had overs 4 weeks ago. I did the housework for the first time since the opp last Saturday but I felt like it was too soon to push the hoover round, my right boob hurt afterwards. I’ve had another go this weekend and it’s been fine x

I went through BMI and like Charlotte said it’s so much better. I had two pre-op consultations with my surgeon and Two since the op which was 3 weeks ago. The care at the hospital was excellent as well, and they said if there’s any problems to come straight back there

I had overs 3 and a half weeks ago. They still look quite round and don’t move yet, but i think they’re sloooowly settling x

I had that for about week starting around day 10. I found some soothing maternity gel pads on amazon and just usedthem until it got better x

I’m 19 days post op and saw my surgeon on Wednesday, he said I was fine to start exercising again but to avoid upper body and running. He said I’d be fine to do a spin class but was worried that might raise my heart rate too much and cause any bleeding. Did anyone start exercising again this early? Oh no! I feel Ok now, right boob is still a bit more swollen and uncomfortable but this is the first day (day 7) I’ve had no pain at all. Maybe it’s the strapping because it feels so good to take your bra off for 10mins when they’re hurting? Have you tried ice packs? X

How are you feeling now? i felt so much better yesterday but then woke up at 2am with them aching so much I thought they were going to explode. Stomach is also very uncomfortable again.

Me too! I had overs and honestly thought I’d be fine but yesterday was day 2 and I was so sore! I feel better today but they’re still so tight and swollen. I had drains after my op and I think the holes from them are causing a fair bit of discomfort. Hopefully it will only get better! X

My right one is still swollen and higher, it felt really weird putting my bra on once the drains were on, like I’ve got to basketballs down my front. They come out in the morning. I think my right one isnt in the pocket completely as it’s very swollen and draining a lot slower. I’m so glac I went with 240cc though, my left one looks good!, i nearly bottled it this morning because i was scared they would be too big!

Yeah I just pulled the bottom half of the tube off one because my gown got all trapped when I was on the loo! Need to brush my teeth but it hurts to get up because of them. They’re the worst part and there’s barely any fluid come out of them either!

I had overs today and I’m a bit sore! I think it’s the drains though because when I move around the pain is quite localised where they’re sitting. I’m also really swollen and they look huge!

@fj I’ve done so much research on overs since my surgeon suggested it as I was worried about them looking too fake, but now I’m so glad thats what I’m having. from what I found it can be better to have overs if you have enough breast tissue and only want a small implant. I’m booked in for 240cc overs and I’ve been trying 240 rice sizers and they feel huge! My surgeon said rice can be a bit bulky so they’re not entirely accurate, -and i think because they push your boobs up as well maybe it makes them feel bigger?

I’m booked in for 240cc overs on Tuesday 4th October and I’m just looking online for a sports bra. I’m a 34a a now and my surgeon said to get a d or dd for after. I can’t imagine I’m going to be a dd but should i go with a 34 or size up to a 36 to allow for swelling? I think I’m going to get a high impact one from M&S but just not sure of size?…[Read more]

I’m having 240cc overs on the 4th, i was worried about them looking too fake initiialy but I’ve done loads of googling and now I think if you have the breast tissue to cover them and you don’t go to big then it’s the best option!

I”m having overs in 2 weeks. My surgeon said because I”m so active havung them under the muscle can distort and displace them over time. I”m going small though (240cc) and i have enough breast tissue to cover them so hopefully they won’t look too fake!
