I just used plenty of ice packs and kept on top of my painkillers about day 4 I started to cut down on them, the drains didn’t bother me at all they didn’t hurt getting taken out and I was dreading them, just the incision hurt a little now and again but nothing major xx

Thank you girls , it won’t let me reply to you individually for some reason :/, I had my strapping on for 7 days, and my post op bra I wore my macoms for the first three weeks and these are the Asda online post op bras X2 for £15 they are so comfy and just tend to sleep in these as it’s slightly big on the back xxx

Hi hun, I’m 12 DPO with Frati and when I had my strapping off and the nurse never mentioned to me about a band and I had unders I assume it’s just for the odd few that get them, try not to worry yourself xx

Tomrowow I’ll be 8 DPO and I’m due to get my strapping off I think I’m more scared about having that off more than I was having the op, does it hurt to have it off?! Xx

I’m 3 days PO and I’m just wondering if anybody else has had a horrible burning pain on their incision, I think it’s were my drain has been pulled out it’s only on the left side, the nurse called me yesterday and said it is quite normal, but the pain is unableable at times :(:(

Hiya Hun, I had Frati on the 8th of this month at Preston he was so professional and the staff at Preston were great, I 100% think I chose the right surgeon, Frati also uses strapping and drains unlike some of the other surgeons but I’m also glad I had those too, best of luck xxx

So I had my BA yesterday at the first trust hospital, the nurses and health cares were amazing with me as i did not recover well from Anaesthetic they were all so reassuring and kind.
