I was told your gap is your gap…. i remember asking my surgeon to put them close together and he said that they have to go in the middle of your breast. That’s why I went for a lower profile (mod plus) as they were wider…. i guess going for the widest implant for your width measurement will reduce the gap as much as is possible.

I am the same RAM, one of mine has dropped and fluffed more than the other, can feel my right implant still sitting higher…. i am nearly 7 months post op. I finally have a post op consultant review on Friday so will see what he says.

Don’t worry Emma, I had nights out at 4 and 11 days post op which involved dancing and I was totally fine, assuming you had your bra on and weren’t doing press ups 🤣 I’m sure there will be no issues.

Ria, honestly just give it some time. 1 week post op is no time at all. They are nowhere near at their final shape, size or position.
They definitely get bigger as they drop and fluff (for unders anyway). I am 6 months post op and I would say they have gradually got bigger. There is no way that they are smaller than before, they are just tight…[Read more]

So the size of implant you can be offered depends on your chest width measurement. What you’ll find is that a mod plus implant will be wider than the same volume in high profile so it worth looking at the different profiles.

Ria it will absolutely settle down, I was surprised how sore I was post op but after the 1st week it definitely improved. I had unders too but don’t know about the mastoplexy side of things…. i can only assume that would make you sorer as its a more complex procedure. I would expect you would be fine to work from home assuming its desk based after 5 days, I had unders and had to drive and do the school and nursery runs day 1 post op.

I have round textured dual plane…. tbh, i never realised I had textured till a few weeks ago. Mine feel natural I have to say and they do drop into a natural position too. No complaints here.

@Liv, I’m 5 foot and about 50kg (size 8). I had 250cc round mod plus dual plane 5 months ago. I was previously a 32A/ B if padded. I think I’m now about 32C/D. Not been officially measured due to the current restrictions. If you want to PM me, I would be happy to share some pictures.

Hi Amy, I am nearly 5 months post op, my left one dropped about 2 months ago but the right one still hasn’t. I have been massaging it etc but it just feels like its not going to budge. I really hope it will drop.
Hopefully someone can answer that has been in our situation.

The difference at my clinic was about £1000. Just remember, round will also drop and with gravity take on a slight tear drop. Mine are round unders as I had very little breast tissue and they look very natural. Obviously the bigger you go, the less natural they will look.

Same stats as me Shauna, I went for 250cc moderate plus dual plane round. They are in proportion I think for me. I coiod have gone to 300cc but like you, I didn’t want to risk being top heavy.

@beth, are you thinking that losing weight will make ur boots sag more? There is probably an element of the novelty wearing off with the boots, you get so used to them being part of you. If you were to get ur old boobs back for a day I’m sure you would realise how great they are.

Bron, I also work in health care and have a particularly heavy job. I took 2.5 weeks off and tried to avoid the heavier bits of the job where possible for a couple of weeks after that. I think its less of a.worry if you’re having overs. Mine were unders.

They were comfy but not the most flattering so did wear some sports bras after a couple of weeks. Have some clothes/nightwear that you don’t need to put over your head for the 1st couple of weeks.

Mine is just at the bottom of the implant which I can feel more on the one that has dropped but I think it’s because I have very little breast tissue and the implant has very little covering it now it has moved down. For me it took about 2 weeks for the tightness to settle down. I am nearly 8 weeks post op and they are definitely dropping and softer but still not normal yet, still too hard to squeeze together to get a good cleavage yet.

Hi Hannah, mine looked a bit like that to start, one more so than the other, the implant is still sitting very high just now giving it that square appearance at the top. It will drop down into its pocket as the weeks go on. One of mine is still slightly higher than the other but the shape defo improving.

I took annual leave for mine, I wouldn’t have thot it should count as sick leave when its cosmetic but every workplace is different. If ur sick note doesn’t say what the surgery is then that’s good. I don’t think you have to disclose it to anyone you don’t want to.

Hi Sarah, I returned to the gym at 11 days post op but just doing some low impact cardio, leg stuff and ok maybe the odd spin class 😕…. I am counting down the days as i am 5 weeks post op tomorrow. I am expecting to start lifting very light at 6 weeks but will likely avoid much on the chest as I had unders.

Aw Charlotte, sorry you are feeling this way. I am kinda dropping and fluffing now I think at 4 weeks post op. I feel mine do look bigger than they did 2 weeks ago but mine were unders so not sure if that makes a difference. From what I have read, I expect that the drop and fluff does make them look bigger.

@ Jade, sounds like a difficult decision for you. 450cc seems really big for only being a size 6/8 and 7 stone but at the same time, ur not short. I guess ur width measurements must be big enough to 450cc in. My guess is that you would be more than a DD. Why don’t you try some rice sizers, they helped me decide.

I have a couple of macom ones which I wore for the st couple of weeks but i felt they came up really high at the front so was restricted with what i could wear and didn’t give me a good shape. I have found myself mostly wearing my sports bras which are a bit more versatile for clothes and giving me a nicer shape.

@pink princess123, thanks. I have just started using dermatix on my scars since they were 3 weeks old last week. I wasn’t sure which one to go for but was the only one I could find in Boots.
Would agree with the bio oil, used it religiously in my pregnancies and no stretch Mark’s here 👏👏👏
