I put a plastic one in my belly button first time, had my 2nd op 2 weeks ago and couldn’t get the metal one out so they taped over it and made me sign a form for it, they were OK about it

I have just had mr G for a reop, I found him to be so kind and helpful and really trusted him to fx my problems. He was completely honest with me from the start about what to expect and I found the entire experience with MYA so much better than I had 5 years ago. Thanks girls. I think he got confused with the 4 wks with a bra but I’ll check with nurse on Thursday to be sure – I don’t think I could cope with 4 wks!

I’m on my second ba and I’m sure last time I was told to sleep upright for 10 days or 2 weeks, something like that. This time I’m being told 4 weeks – I’m sure this has just been a miscommunication with my surgeon but can anyone else clarify what they’ve been told? I had inspira 400 the first time, they gave me a great shape, I hope my new ones are the same although they are a lower projection – hopefully they will settle in the next couple of weeks! The new ones seem to be sitting lower than my other ones even tho they’re only 425 so not much bigger. I must be more patient and wait and see! Thankyou xx

Thanks hon it does. It didn’t occur to me to ask before but I’m hoping they will change a little bit as they’re not quite what I was hoping for at the moment! Do you mind if I ask why you had revision and if you went up/down a size? Thanks xx

I had reop 2 days ago for cc from a 2011 op – I was just inside the 5 yr period and my old surgeon had left. I had no prob sat all, MYA were great, I got allocated a new PC and a new surgeon and from my first appointment was in for surgery in 3 months. They don’t use the same implants as I had (I had natrelles which I paid more for at the time)…[Read more]

Prob a stupid question but I’ve had new implants after a reop – my last ones were extra high profile and very round. The new implants are high profile round – at the moment the bottom is very round already (probably from the pre-existing pocket) but the top looks very flat. Hi Kirsty, hope you don’t mind, I sent you a friend request. I had met reop yesterday and had my extra high profile implants replaced with high profile, they are round but look more like partials as all the weight of the implant has dropped to the bottom of the breast. I’d like to know how you found the partials shape wise?

Sorry for late reply, feel free to add me – I had a reop yesterday for cc and now have 425 high profile – it’s too early to say what size I will be etc but they look a little flatter and wider and am hopeful I won’t go up another size! How did your op go?

Mr Giannitrapani – my original surgeon doesn’t work there any more but I prefer that, there were things about my initial surgery I wasn’t happy with so I’m happy to have someone new. Who do you have?

Going over again, I have capsular contracture over one implant but I’m covered by MYA, they’ve been great, only diagnosed a couple of months ago and op is next week. My new surgeon has ordered 400, 425 and 450 but only high profile, they don’t use the implants I had last time so the dimensions of these new ones are all different so I have no idea…[Read more]

I’ve got a reop on the 9th and am having the same size implants ordered but for over the muscle – my last op took me from an a/b to an f with 400 xhp but they were over the muscle. I wish I’d gone smaller the first time tho!

Let’s hope so! Managed to find the aftercare policy now on the website and that says 5 yrs too, 3 yrs is for any other revisions, so I should be covered. If the surgeon agrees that is! Thanks x

I had 400cc extra high profile overs and went from 34A/B to 34F. Since then I’ve always wished I’d gone with smaller implants as I only wanted to go up to a D!
