@bh72 hi Lucy, I had Kazzazi on 18/3 and had the implant in. Was a bit worried as when I read paperwork about the pill it paid stop taking it 6 weeks before. @jadepowers Hi Jade, I used sanitising gel to get the sticky stuff from the strapping off, my husband put it on cotton wool and did it for me as I was too scared to go near my incisions, worked great though as I was constantly trying to pick bits off before xx

@cazza2p hi, I had the graze marks things too where my strapping had been irritating me, I used sudacrem and it went after a few days. I also had the sticky stuff which is just the backing from the strapping and found sanitising hand gel worked really well to get it off, my husband had to do it for me though as I was so scared I would get it on…[Read more]

@cazza2p hi, I had my strapping off at Leeds also with the nurse and she took it off really slowly and used sterile wipes to help so it didn’t hurt at all. I felt so much better after I took it off and was able to wear a sports bra, I think because you can see them makes you feel better too!! Xx

It depends which finance option you are going for as they do longer than 10 months but then the interest rates search quite high. With the ten month and £2500 deposit it’s interest free. I think the minimum deposit is £500 though from what I can remember my PC saying if you do want to pay it back over a longer period xx

@slj1809 I work part time only 16 hours per week when our little girls go to nursery and didn’t have a problem being accepted. Surgery day was really good, worse bit was not eating lol but my recovery has been a lot slower than a lot of girls on here and finding that hard cos I have 2 girls aged 4 and 2 who want to be playing all the time and going to the park on the swings etc and I can’t do it yet!

It does increase the chance of dvt that’s what my nurse said anyway, when I told her I had the implant and checked if I needed to have it removed before surgery she said no and to wear those sexy stockings they give you for 72 hours after surgery so that’s what I did xx

My nurse said if was taking it to stop 6 weeks beforehand. I have the implant in my arm and she said it was fine to keep that in though as I was worried I would have to have that removed before surgery xx

I was strapped up straight after surgery so didn’t wear a bra for the first week until I had my strapping taken off by the nurse at my 1 week post op appointment. She didn’t say why so not sure. I don’t know if it would do any harm though but I am just going to wait 2 weeks because that’s what she said. I have read on here though people drinking alcohol within the 2 weeks pre op which she also told me not to and they have been fine xx

I have it in grey and pink too it’s lovely, having my strapping off tomorrow and tried mine on today and feels really tight and hurt to fasten so going to buy a bigger size tomorrow to take to the nurse! Very good value for money though and can take them back if they don’t fit xx

They had said about it being heavy and I just imagined it would be the same feeling as when I was breastfeeding and full of milk lol but it feels so much heavier than that!
Yeah I might put a sports bra on if the strapping gets worse as don’t want anything to go wrong if they don’t get the support they need.

Just to let you know as well Hannah, I got told not to eat for 6 hours before hand and my admission time was 12! I was up at 5.30 this morning to have some cereal just so I had eaten before the journey!! Xx
