However, I went for my 6 week check up today (I’m actually 7WPO) and the nurse told me that I have to wait until 3 months PO when I see my surgeon before I can wear a wired bra. Has anybody else been advised otherwise?

For the first couple of weeks I only did legs and cardio (up hill walk on treadmill and stair master). I’m now 5 weeks post op and can also do arms, shoulders and back with free weights… don’t think I will do chest again. My friend is 2 years post op and still can’t train chest!

I had my surgery 1 week ago and I honestly can’t believe how easy the recovery has been. For the first few days I took some paracetamol and ibuprofen every now and again but I haven’t needed any pain relief at all for the past few days, I have been driving and doing all of my usual daily things! I had IBS as a child so maybe that hasn’t helped either! I rang the emergency line and she advised to stop taking them. I’ve been fine today after not taking them so hopefully I will be alright from now on as I haven’t been in pain at all! xx

I weighed myself this morning and I have put on 8lb! I had 375cc in each and they weigh just under 2lb so that accounts for some of the weight gain. I bought a breast band from Macom and Dr Traynor has told me he doesn’t want me to wear it. Just letting you guys know that you need to ask the surgeon first as it’s a waste of £25 if your surgeon doesn’t want you to wear one 🙂
