How long do we actually have to sleep sat up? I’ve heard 2 weeks 3 weeks 6 weeks??? No that is a good help because I was under the impression from the first nurse that I would have to leave them in for a second week which I’m happy to do if that’s what he wants but upon seeing a different nurse she has wiped clean redressed and trimmed the ends then told me to wait only 2 day until I soak of the dressings in the shower??? Thanks girls… @ele- muscle relaxants? I didn’t get any what is it? I got antibiotics for 7 days and ibuprofen/ paracetamol five days worth? My boobs are rock hard still also,roughly how long til they soften a bit!? Xx

How long til the pain goes away on unders I am 10 days post op still feel I couldn’t lift anything too heavy. Can’t get up from lying position.getting stabbing/ pulling sensation in incisions when I laugh or sneeze? Ah same here @jasmyn I thought we would get codiene my whole torso is aching more then any pain in my boobs,my stomach area is sore to touch,my incisions aren’t iching too bad but supposedly if they are it just means they’re healing?? Xxx

@zoe did you have mr Traynor? I got told at pre op that he uses dissolvable stitches but put a certain type of stitch at either end of the incision that he only likes removed after 2 weeks??

yes I’m all booked for Nov 17th at Preston-do you live near there? I’m a 2 hr drive so wondering whether I need to book hotel for night before and then again for the evening of 17th as I thought we had to be near to the hospital for a certain amount of time afterwards!?!?

Eeeeh Paula I’m very similar I do a weights class upto 5 times a week and that has been one of my thoughts how will it be when we do chest muscles dr Traynor has told my PC he’d speak more indepth with me on surgery day. Your right it’s so stressful are you still undecided then?
