By any chance did you have Traynor as your surgeon? I did and I had that band too, the amount of pain that band caused me!! Was so relieved when I got it off.

The only thing that I found hard was not moving my arms lots and getting used to these things being on my chest!

Here they are 2 weeks post-op and before!

I went with the 500cc hp overs. I’ve been incredibly lucky with recovery. Only needed paracetamol & ibuprofen on the first day couple of days. Moving around is now fine and totally normal. Only thing I find a tad uncomfortable is lifting anything heavy.
