@nikkib hi Nikki I haven’t rhinoplasty with dr lancer in 2 days and I am so nervous! I’m so glad I have found someone who has had a procedure with him! How are you feeling? And are you happy? X

    • Hi Sophie – fear not, you are in god hands! Lancer knows what he is doing and you will be just fine :0). Are you having your op at park hill in Doncaster? I am nearly two weeks post op now and the time seems to have gone quite fast. I am still sore and nose bridge particularly tender and swollen as I had my bones broken to narrow my bridge, ouch! I would say the first couple of days are the biggest hurdles and probably the most uncomfortable. Your mouth will be dry through breathing through your mouth all the time and you will probably feel a little uncomfortable and bashed up!! Do take a tin of Vaseline or really good quality lip balm with you to the hospital. You will need it, trust me! I would say recovery is uncomfortable not painful, but the short term discomfort is worth the longer term outcome. I am 80% happy with my outcome, I think the rest will come when my swelling goes down and I can see my new nose properly. I am also sore still and trying to avoid my very enthusiastic kids from walloping me in the face which has me on edge all the time! One hard thump to the nose and I’ll have to start again which I really don’t want to do! I do wish you lots of luck and encouragement, Lancer will look after you. Nikki x

    • Thank you for the help 🙂 what else did you take in your hospital bag? Yes I’m at Doncaster park hill! I’m only having my bump shaved off and no breakage so hopefully won’t be to painful! I’m only nervous that it will go wrong but I don’t think it’s a very hard procedure! How we’re u doing going back to work. If you work that is? I’m a beautician and have booked 2 weeks off xx
