I think I have a rupture
But reading others stories on here I’m not sure as everyones symptoms seem different to mine.
My gp also thinks theres a leak but the nhs have closed their scanning at the moment for covid, mya send you to the nhs, or I could pay for private which I cant afford at the moment, so at the moment I’m stuck

i wore my macom in bed and my m&s bra in the day, i loved my macom but felt more supported in my sports bra, and as i walk all day at work i felt it stopped them jiggling and feeling sore 🙂

I was just about to post the same thing. Just had my strapping off. I’ve got cuts, and some scabs under my armpits, keep bleeding on my Macom, so sore, dunno what’s best to do x

Did u wear your sports bra in the end? I’ve got a wedding 19days post op and thinking I might be best to find something that hides the sports bra, or wear my Macom x

Yeah Preston, I had red a lot of people had to wait so took LOADS to do, after 15 mins my surgeron dr fratti came down, drew on me and said 10-20mins but was another 40mins. I was shocked but when I asked they said people always moan about the days they run over and people don’t talk about the days they don’t. So have faith 🙂 xx

The consultations are pretty fast, they run a few a week so depends on your availability and how busy they are. and surgery isn’t long after I only had 1date I could do which was 4weeks later and they got me it.

It needs to be zip up or button up. Yeah I hate not being able to do stuff 🙁 I wanted mine on but they said no. They feel soon heavy, if I hold them they feel fine, otherwise they feel so heavy I struggle. I’ve got full strapping on so I know they are fine, just hurts x

Hmm I had dr frati, I have the strapping, and they said no need to put the bra on until my strapping comes off. But like u my mobility is rubbish!! Who did u have?

My husband has a stair gate on my room so the kids can’t get to me, and he’s doing everything. He’s cleaning like mad to clear germs bless him. I’m really struggling to move, so he’s babysitting me to.

Thanks, the kids have it a little but fighting it so well. I think my immune system is low because of the surgery 🙁

It’s so pathetic how sorry I’m feeling for myself today. I feel awful posting this, as I don’t want to scare people because I am still glad I’ve done it, I’m just unlucky.

Make sure u use the Mya discount code (u get it with your pre op appointment with the nurse) I have ultimate one and a sports bra so I can rotate each other. Girls seem to love them or hate them, do I didn’t want to risk two I case I hated them x

I badly didn’t want to be on, during or whilst revering so I went to the docs and got noresthisterone. My doc says they are known as the holiday pill. Stop u having a period for 2weeks or if ur on, can make u come off. I would use them. Had my BA done today my poor hubby is wiping my bum, I couldn’t imagine being on as well 🙁 xx

no logos and doesnt say their name, and it says elective surgery (non medical emergency surgery your chose to have) , it has to have their address on tho, so it could be worked out i guess. i havnt told my work anything x

i got a sick note for two weeks off from mya 🙂 they were soooooooooooooooo helpful, i wish i had just called them first, instead of worring. i then have a weeks holidays so fingers crossed i should be ok 🙂 hayley you should be taking it easy! you have just had surgery after all! x

I’m close to my surgery date, and i’m just really worried about my time off work. i do a lot of lifting and stretching, and i haven’t told anyone at work i’m going in for surgery. I’m a proper wuss and don’t normally heal very well, so i am worried that my 12 days off wont be enough. (i only work 12hours). was wondering how long others took off. thanks x

johnsons baby head-to-toe washclothes they are called, in a yellow packet, sold in all supermarkets, etc. they are excellent so much better for washing than wetwipes 🙂 (tad more pricey tho) x

1 and it will be my second daughters 3rd birthday the week after (ARGGH!) they are so young they wont understand, they use me as swing, slide, and general climbing frame haha! im booked for first week of august, cant wait. everyone keeps saying theyve put on weight :'( im dreading that, still loosing my baby weight! haha x
