I’ve seen so many different answers to this question as each surgeon seems to have their own opinions. My doctor advised me to wear sports bras with high support for 3 months. About a week before my surgery I started wondering what I was doing and why I was going through with it. I had a major freak out but managed to tell myself it was what I wanted and still went ahead and I’m so happy I did. I was absolutely terrified on the day of the surgery, felt like running away but honestly it’s over so quick x

I was moving around fine by the 5th day. Just dont expect to be able to wear anything nice to show off your new boobs as you will still be stuck in the ugly sports bras x

I’m 6 weeks po now and mine have already started dropping and fluffing. I would say that my gap is pretty much the same as it was, they don’t seem to have moved any closer together, or appear to. It might be different for different people though so I wouldn’t worry too much at this stage. They will change so much x

I got measured at 6 weeks po as your breasts change so much every day, you could get measured now but you may be a completely different size in a few weeks. In my case as the weeks went on my boobs looked bigger than they had straight after my op so you probably wouldn’t get a true representation this early x

I think everyone is different in terms of how they lose weight. Whenever I’ve gone up and down in weight my boobs have always been the first to show the loss/gain so I know I have to be careful when trying to lose weight to make sure I do it slowly to prevent the weight loss from making my breasts look saggy. I personally wouldn’t but I’m so worried about my very large implants dropping too much so I wouldn’t risk them not having the support needed from the bra, especially as you are so early in the recovery process. It looks as though one has dropped and healed and the other hasn’t correctly dropped into the breast pocket. I would definitely speak to your surgeon as after 3 years they should have completely healed and shouldn’t be uneven in terms of how high or low they are. A lot of the time whether they go under the muscle or over is down to the amount of skin you have. I think people have a bad perception of overs but there’s many girls I’ve seen who have overs and they definitely don’t look more fake or stuck on x

Honestly I am dying to go back on the sunbeds I’m feeling so pale but I’m worried about my scars and how they will go. Whenever I ask the nurses they just tell me not to go on sunbeds again as they’re bad for me and give me a lecture so I’m no clearer on timescales x

I found it hard to keep my arms up for too long so the first week I went to a hairdresser and got wash and blow dry. I think it just depends how you’re recovering but be sure not to over exert yourself x

I haven’t seen many girls on here liking the macom bras but I bought the longer length style and it was my favourite. The asda bras seem to cut into me a bit near where the hooks are and the M&S bra was never as comfortable x

Hi Angel. I’m happy to report the pain went away within a few days. I’m 4 weeks po now and although I still get tenderness and some sharp pains it’s so much better. It will pass for you, I still don’t really know what was causing the pain I had but I think it’s one of those normal processes and it does pass x

After my one week check up the nurse said I didn’t have to sleep upright anymore but as a total worrier I’m still doing it every night. I feel your pain! After my surgery I feel like I wasn’t even eating much as I was in pain but I’ve gained about a stone! Implants only weigh a couple of pounds as well so I can’t even use that as an excuse. Not moving around much for the first week probably didn’t help x

I’m 3 weeks po now and I’m fine doing everything as normal. I do still get the occasional pain though and I’ve heard that they don’t recommend heavy lifting until 4-6 weeks after so I would check with your surgeon at your check up appointment x
