Just went and binged at Lush. Don,t know why but buying supplies for my post op recovery makes me feel more in control.
    What I bought today:
-No Drought dry shampoo, already tried and tested and really works. Great for those gross days after surgery
-Lip Scrub, I know what its like to be totally bunged up with a cold and if its anything like that my lips get all dry and cracked after sleeping with my mouth open so this should leave them all soft
-Lip service lip balm, a must! I’ll use it all through the night and after the scrub
-You’ve been mangoed bath bar, as I will no doubt be taking a few lukewarm baths before I can shower this will add a touch of luxury.
    – Porridge exfoliating bar, just bought this for now but thought I’d add it in anyway
    – Natural deodorant bar. All natural and better than aluminum filled spray ons.
Also I went ahead and bought the Liz Earle stuff. I aim to get my skin in as good a condition as possible before I cant wash it for 12 days!

    • Hi Hun, thats a brilliant shopping list. I’ve been trying to figure out what I need to get in prep for my op and couldn’t think of anything. Soooo need dry shampoo and lip scrub…x

      • Yeah I’ve been getting lots of things but top of the list is V shaped pillow, lip balm and scrub, dry shampoo and facial toner/cleanser. Let me know if you want full list… It’s quite long lol xx

    • Hello hun, thank you…I’ve got myself a v pillow Thursday…it’s huge. I’m also getting antihisthemenes to stop me sneezing after the surgery. I asked my nurse abot this at the pre op and she said its a good idea…I always have a sneezing fit at least once a day.
My lovely friend went on a little short break and has brought me a onesie to lounge about in after the op. You’ve not got long to go now..xx
