My Story…………..pics to follow!!!
Ok so i have wanted to have surgery for years, I never started to get breasts until i was about 14 and then i never got much bigger than a B, I never wanted huge boobs just a nice D with a nice shape and fullness!!
I had both my children at 18 and 21 years old whilst breast feeding my breasts grew to a lovely full C but deflated soon after breast feeding, Leaving some very fine stretch marks, I mentioned to my husband about maybe getting a “boob job” and he was fully supportive obviously said he didnt think i should do it but whatever makes me happy, I mentioned it to my mum and she was very supportive, as well as a few other family members i told including my sister who has been so supportive. She came to both consultations with me!!
I contacted mya and booked an initial consultation with Charlotte at the Chelmsford Clinic, she gave me a load of info and suggested a surgeon called Marion Grob……After i did my home work and looked at Dr Grob in more detail….booked a consultation with Marion as she seemed like a very good surgeon and there was not a bad word said about her and some girls on mya space had been great enabling me to see “her work”.
Anyway a few wks later i meet with Marion and she was great, very informative showed me the implants, sizes, profile, looked at what i had and she said what she could do ect ect.
She offered 410, 460 or even a 525 and i could go under or over. But that was my decision, so i went away to have a think what i wanted.
I wanted to pay for my surgery in cash so decided to go for september the 18th giving me enough time to save, Then my mum said she would lend me half the money as she new i had my heart set on the 24th july (during kids holiday) so i could have time to recover, so i changed my date…….all i had to do was wait about a month. Anyway spoke to my p.c who had thought i was having cui implants but i had payed for the naturelle so the sizes where going to be different (so glad i checked that before the wrong implants where ordered) the sizes then changed to 415 or 450 i decided to go for 450, I also decided to go for under the muscle!! had my Pre op at Upper wimpole, london, The nurse checked my medical records, Height, Weight, Blood pressure, Took pre op photos ect ect.
Anyway the big day come i got my addmission time for 7.30 my step dad took me and my
mum to highgate,
We got lost and I got all worked up as i thought i may have got my op cancelled, rolled up to Highgate at 8.15 was shown to my room, the nurse came in gave me my stockings, nightie and the sexy paper pants, done a pregnancy test.
The anethatist came round she was lovely i asked some silly questions like was i gonna wake up, was i gonna wake up in the middle of the op, she laughed and reassured me i would be fine!! then ms grob came drew the lines on me and asked if i wanted unders or overs and what sz i had decided?? she said if i went for unders i may get double bubble and stretch marks, i told her i wanted unders to look more natural but she assured me i had enough breast tissue to go over the muscle and they would look really natural!! so me being me i changed my mind…… i decided overs 450cc high profile, luckily i did my homework on overs too!!
next thing a nurse came in and said they was ready, I kissed my mum goodbye at the theatre doors squeezed her like ive never squeezed her and started to cry (which i new i was gonna do) went to a room sat in there talking to a nurse for 10 mins whilst they where getting ready for me i was absolutley shitting it even considering walking out and cancelling the surgery, i was that scared!!!! They called me in at 10.25am and i got on the bed the lovely anethatist put in my canula ( i hate needles) she attached the drip, then i asked was it done, she stroked my face and said you are going to sleep darling, It felt lovely, my eye lids got heavy next thing i just could’nt open my eyes, then i woke up in recovery with a nurse and shaking sooo much i was so cold. I was taken back to my room at 12.30ish and had a bit of pain i was given oral morphine and felt better about 15 mins later!! my mum helped me to toilet with the drains making me cringe!! had a little peek (couldnt see much)and fell back to sleep, the nurse got me water, toast and a fan as it was 30c outside!!
about 4 oclock they brought me ice cream, beef stew, fruit salad and tomato and motzerella which was all lovely, brought my mum a sandwich and tea all day for free!! the staff were fantastic, and the nurse was lovely but unfortuntley i did not get her name!! my drains were taken out at 5.30 and didnt have much fluid, they felt stingy coming out a weird feeling!!
discharged at 6oclock went home to my 6 pillows lol and my mum stayed overnight to help with my kids ( my hubby was working away)
Anyway my recovery has been fine, up and down the first 3 days not pain just discomfort, every day has got better, i had plastic and tap all over and a big bandage rolled up between my clevage! went to my post op tuesday, ive heald great little neat scars and my boobs look fantastic, they feel quiet soft already, i was so scared that they would look different or to big or not what i was expecting!!! i look about a D, tried another sports bra 36 dd and fits great!! GOT A MACOM ITS GREAT!!
Just want to say im 100% happy with my boobs, they look bloody fantastic thanks to all of mya, highgate staff and most importantly ms grob for making me one very very happy lady!!!! its definatly the best decision ive ever made!!!!
And if i could give any lady any advise at the start of there process to breast augmentation i say just 3 words………..GO FOR IT!!!!
