How was the day of your procedure? |
Amazing! Admission time was 11am I arrived at First Trust Preston and was shown straight to my room, nurse came through to complete my admission and gown me up. Then anesthetiser came to see me then last but not least my surgeon came to draw on me and he told me I had half an hour before going into theatre! I went into theatre at 1pm so only had to wait 2 hours. All I remember is the cold running up my arm then waking up. I cried when I first came around but think I was just emotional! The stinging was the worst for a few hours then was gone by 5 and I was out by 5.30! 🙂

How was your recovery? |
Keeping topped up on paracetamol and ibuprofen, hardest thing for me is sleeping at 45 degree angle as I normally lie curled up on my side. But pain isn’t half as bad as I was expecting it’s more uncomfortable and annoying as you forget how much you use your arm and chest muscles. I had overs though so is supposed to be better recovery
