Thought i would introduce myself.

Hated my nose since i can remember it unfortunately runs in the family and we all have a larger crooked nose – i have had previous surgery ‘Breat Augumentation’ 5 years ago but never had courage to have Rhinoplasty – it is probably one of the only operations that scares me imagining a chisel/hammer etc banging away on your nose ouch ha!!! Even though you are obviously asleep coming round from the GA worries me also – not being able to breathe through your nose is a major concern – i keep imaging having a panic attack or something!!! At the end of the day this is your face and something people can look at all day long – very important decision!!!!

Anyway i have plucked up the courage and booked for October 7th 2010 with Mr Gonschior @ MYA at the Manchester clinic – he is based in London but does monthly clinics in Manchester so puts my mind at ease that i am not too far from home!! I have read good/bad reports/also not many on this site and others regarding Mr Gonschior and meeting and speaking with him i can only say go with your gut feeling!!!

I have read many people mentioning 3 or 4 Rhinsoplasty surgeons based in London saying they would not go anywhere else and this is fine if your happy to do that – i think this is unfair – yes you are going to pay £6000 upwards for a private london-based surgeon but thinking the most expensive is the best is WRONG!!! I choose not to see one of them 3 surgeons having being so happy meeting Mr Gonschior 1st time round – he is actually a Maxillo-Facial specialist surgeon and qualified dentist – he is not a general surgeon that could do you boobs, tummy tuck etc he only specialises the face which i thought was fantastic!!! He is also a realist at what he can acheive and got straight to the point what i should and shouldnt expect!!! I was shown before and after pics of Mr Gonschiors work by my co-ordinator Laura @ Leeds who was also very lovely – which i was very impressed by – one of the girls with a fantastic outcome was a previous BB contestant and she looked fab!!!

Anyway i am going for my 2nd consultant with Mr Gonschior to make sure were on the same level about what i would like him to acheive tomorrow then will be getting ready for my op in October 2010 – dont be persuaded by random people on here, some people have bad and good stories about their noses – you just dont get to hear many of the great ones – i will be definately putting my pics on here and hopefully for me my gut instinct was right and i am happy with my new nose!!!!
