⭐️1 week PO appointment ???⭐️

I’m 7 days PO today and 2moro I’m booked in to have my strapping off…. I’m actually a bit nervous about this, seeing them for the first time and also them just being free without the support of the strapping for a bit… Could someone talk me through having their strapping off plz? Like did it hurt end does the nurse just pull it away? ?? thanks x

Heya x I took mine off a week and a half ago and it felt sooo good! Such a huge relief, felt like all the pressure was released. I was so happy when I looked down and saw my results and I’m sure u will be too! The nurse will tell u to keep taking deep breaths and will slowly start pulling it off from the sides. She will take breaks if u look like your uncomfortable. It didn’t hurt me at all! Just the stickiness off the strapping pulled some of my baby hairs out so it kinda felt like a wax. When she gets to your boob part it comes off easily because there’s already something underneath it to stop it from sticking to ur boob 🙂 Good luck xx

Hey thanks @yaz123 it doesn’t sound too bad and I hope so?. I do just want it off now! You mentioning the nurse telling you to keep taking deep breaths reminds me of having my drains out ?? lol xx

Oh my having the drains out was sooo awful! Definitely isn’t that bad. I think she only told me to take deep breaths because I was wincing because I thought it would hurt. It’s quick and easy 🙂 she takes off the bandages on ur incisions aswell, checks if they are okay and gives them a wipe with an antiseptic wipe which doesn’t hurt either. Hope u like ur results xx
