    Hi girls, so I’m 1 day post op and feeling good! Yesterday I felt amazing couldn’t believe how well I felt, came round really quickly which was good! Feeling achy and top heavy this morning but no pain as of yet, and the painkillers aren’t making me feel sick thank God!! Little bit difficult moving about as it is all tight and the strapping is squashing them down but no where near as bad as what I expected xxxx

    Tell me about it, moving around is so difficult! Sat upright all the time otherwise I can’t get up! Xxxx

    Ok, ribs are sore and I hate not being able to do my normal things but pain is bearable, how about you? Xxxxx

    Yeah I’m exactly the same its just my ribs I thought it was the scars at first and it was worrying me but but I felt all round the bottom and its my ribs and where the drains were feels tender, how were the drains coming out? Such a weird feeling isn’t it!! Xxxxxx

    Yeah I thought it was my incisions too but just think it’s my ribs now! Yeah the drains were so weird! So glad they’re out though, was the weirdest feeling but glad I had them, wbu? Xxxxx

    Yeah so much easier to move! Just feeling top heavy now and the strapping seems to be getting tighter and tighter lol xxxxx

    Lol I know right, my strapping is making it that much harder to breathe! I make so much noise trying to take a deep breath! Xxxxx

    That’s alright hun, they drain all left over fluid so it doesn’t sit in there it’s usually just blood but it’s to stop infection they really aren’t as bad as what they seem! Just really weird when they come out but it doesn’t hurt I was just talking while the nurse done it, they are at the sides just next to your armpit it’s only a thin tube that goes inside and you have little bottles that it goes into but they leave them in for a few hours xxxx

    Ahh ok thanks for clearing that up for me babe, trying to prepare myself as best a possible for this I’m a nightmare for needles and everything .. Hope you have a easy a speedy recovery!

    They really aren’t as bad as they may seem or sound. I’m glad he used them, I’d rather of had them then not had them, xxxx
