    Hi i really didn’t want to put anything on here because i don’t want to put any pre op girls off but everyone is different..I had my op last night and I am still in a lot of pain.. I woke up.in a lot of pain after the op which I didn’t have any paracetamol before I went in which they said they was going to give me some so it was in my system.. I’m. Not sure if I’m taking my tablet’s right what they gave me.. they gave me paracetamol and ibuprofen which the paracetamol is every 4-6 hours and the ibuprofen is 8 hours .. to me that doesn’t seem enough or really do anything for me 🙁 ilky friend has given me a Tramadol which I tool an hour ago but that’s not really done anything either.. is there anyone who could recommend anything I can’t get comfy at all and my back is killing 🙁 sorry girls xxx

    try co-codamol! but dont take it for more than 3 days as it can be addictive!
    its the only thing thats helps when i have migraine and usually make me sleep too
    might be helpful to get you through your first few days pain releif and a bit of sleep to help your body heal. it has paracetamol and codine in it, so you can also take ibuprofen.
    a few girls on here who couldnt handle the pain, saw their gp and got prescribed somehting stronger and one girl went to a&e and got given pain relief there.
    read your body!

    Thanks honey I don’t have any Cocodomol ill ask someone to get me some tomorrow and give it a go just trying a hot water bottle on my back now see if that helps lol xx

    i read a hot water bottle on the lower back and ice pack on the booobs (bag of froozen veg would do) can help too!

    Tried the ice pack on my boobs a while ago but felt strange lol its more my rib cage that’s sore and a bit on my incisions. I’m walking round like I’m disabled and I didn’t think I was a hypochondriac haha thanks again honey let’s hope tomorrow is a better day xxx

    Wish I could pass on my pain threshold to you. I’m fine apart from achey boob when I’ve laid in one position for a while. 🙁 keep us updated. X

    Hope your ok the first few days r awful but it does get better , keep on top of your tablets And rest loads xx

    Hi Hun, I was the same, didn’t think they gave you anything before the op though… I didn’t anyway… After they gave me two lots of codeine to take there and to go home with they gave me cocodamol and antibiotics but that’s all they said I could take ibuprofen as well if I needed it! . I was in a lot of pain for 4 days I was really beginning to regret it! it started to feel better at day 5! But I didn’t get out if my bed apart from to use the loo!

    I had such a good sleep past night girls 🙂 I did wake a few times and heard a few strange noises from my boobs haha but the Tramadol worked would der for me lol gonna have another tonight just so u can sleep again .. I feel loads better at the min but not been out of bed long and was hard getting up it felt like all the blood rushed to my boobs and they are still very tight. It’s just tye getting Comfy sat down so my back doesn’t hurt so much but at the min I’m comfy 🙂 thanks again girls.. I love this site 🙂 xxx

    I did lol I had my op on Friday at 8 pm and had Tramadol at about 9pm the following night and I was fine it helped me sleep 🙂 xx
