10days post op Ms Lutz

Little up date appointment with Joanna my nurse yesterday, for anyone who is going to have surgery with Ms Lutz her stitches are now out and there is a big chance that I will end up with virtually NO scar at all, due to the way she stitches. I still don’t have any bruising guessing by now I will not be getting any at all. Joanna was really pleased with my progress spoke about what I can and can not do still very clearly and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions.
Faye who is my PC nipped in to have a look and was excited to see how they were looking which was really nice and good to see her.
My right boob is a little more swollen than my left, much to my horror hahaha only due to my nipple are so very sensitive I have been told to ice now top and side but not underneath.
I now have dressing on where my stitches were, these stay on until Monday when I can also have a shower yay !!! I will then get to have a good look at my scars which I will photograph and add to this post.
I am still very very pleased that Ms Lutz was my surgeon and Completely recommend her a 100%, she was reassuring made me feel at complete ease reminding me I had nothing to worry about at all and as I sit here writing this I look down at my top there are lovely boobs there!!!!!!

@helen wow I’m so happy for you have you had a completely pain free post op? We’re the same stats apart from I’m 32c at the mo we also have the same clinic same surgeon same pc lol can’t wait to see your end resault sounds like you’ve had it pretty easy hope your ok today and I haven’t jinxed you lol x

Hi Donna, my left boob has not really caused me any problems little sore aches at times but my right boob has been a little more swollen gets the feeling of electric shocked going off inside where I could have thrown my cup of coffee quite easily haha and my friend has even winced from my reaction. Joanna said it’s ok nothing to worry about. I have really taken it easy I have done everything think I have been told even if I have thought I could start doing things I haven’t. One of my friends had unders 8yrs ago she has stressed to rest and not do anything apart from walk around then rest again another one of my friends his ex wife had BA he has nagged me to take it easy so you could say it’s been drummed into me and I am really glad I have listened to them.
When is your surgery? Bristol have been great and Lauren on reception is a star to, they have been there with me all the way and I know I can text them if I didn’t want to ring them with any questions xxx

@helen oh that’s ok then nothing to worry about at least you can ring the girls at Bristol there pretty amazing there !and yeah I would listen about resting up it’s so hard tho when you know you could do stuff but best not to recovery comes first otherwise it might take even longer and we don’t want that .my surgery is booked for 22nd of August but I’m on late space and I’m almost paid up so hopefully it will be sooner I hate waiting and had enough of saving lol
