Only 3 days away! So excited finally getting this done!!

The Fitzroy was really nice the nurses couldn’t do enough very friendly, I had a V pillow but left it in the car and didn’t need it. I never ate any of my snacks as every cup of coffee I have there were biscuits on the side. The toast afterward was the best ever toast yet hadn’t eat of course since tea time day before lol. Everyone that you will speak to before your op will ask you if you have any questions and they listened. Good luck for Tuesday x

Awww how exciting its such a great time good luck hun! Some prep advice off the top of my head:

1) Get your flat/home cleaned and wash all sheets, make sure you put new sheets on your bed before you go (reduces infection on fresh/vulnerable skin)
2) wash your body with antibacterial soap the night before.. i used detol soap but a girl on here called Fran used a different one that may be more gentle idk, ill try and find the name but they all basically do the same i.e. they cleanse your body completely before surgery
3) get a V pillow!!!!
4) can get a bed rest or wedge alongside if you want, or just buy lots and lots of pillows (aka me)
5) put everything you may need after at arms length
6) eat nutritional food and lots of fruit
7) buy your post-surgery bra(s)
8) arrange who will help you the first few days post-op
