just thought id share my progress so far…
pain at the moment is minimal however I am feeling very very ‘sunburnt’ in top half of both breasts……the feeling is very tender and everything that touches them hurts. My left breast from the start has been more sensitive, bruised, swollen and painful and this is still the case.
I have been taking medication to help and even used some nurofen gel on the upper parts of my breasts when I was feeling very bruised and muscle’s were very sore.
I have also been taking Echinacea tablets…they’re great fro helping with the immune system and with slow healing wounds so for our incisions its ideal to take.
I’ve been struggling slightly with bras….I have the Royce post op bra…its been great but have found now my swelling is reducing its obviously not as good a fit although is so comfy! I really recommend it! its lined with silver which is said to help with healing also….but other than the Royce bra, I have been struggling to find one that’s as comfy as this one.
I’ve had a good recovery although everyday is different with the healing process and am over the moon with my results so far
