16DPO sensitivity

I feel like I’m the only one going through this annoying sensitivity thing! My boobs on the sides are sensitivity now. The best way to describe it is it feels like they’re badly sunburnt and touching it kills, even just hugging my other half hurts :(.

Being in the car is awful again as well, every bump in the road I feel in my nipples, which is sooo bizarre!

Thought I was past the worst days! It’s so annoying as I have no real “pain”.

Sorry to rant and moan ladies just have nobody else to talk to xx

Yep! I’m exactly the same, I said to my husband it feels like sunburn when ya bra rubs against em, it’s so annoying. It’s not pain as such but it’s certainly driving me nuts lol xx

@cath69 Thank god I’m not the only one, starting to think i was going nuts lol. Yeah it’s not pain, it’s just so irritating but it’s starting to get me down. Hoping it doesn’t last long. Xx

I have got alot of sensitivity in my left nipple espically but the right aswel. Its not bad while i have my bra on i dont feel it rub or anything but i only have to slightly brush past it as im taking my bra off an its the strangest feeling! Hope it goes soon lol xx

Oh god, I’m taking my bra off for half an hour and I’ve just took some paracetamol to see if it helps. It’s the sides and underneath that are bugging me… 🙁 xx

I have mine off, sat up in bed it’s such a relief. It’s horrid isn’t it, mines mostly just the sides, I feel like I need antihistamines or something xx

Well it’s funny you should say that because last night when I went to bed, under my bra band felt sore so I had a look and I had a red rash, looked like prickly heat, it had gone this morning. But feels the same again now. My recovery has been so easy I feel this is just knocking me back… sounds soft I know but it’s horrible xx

My incisions are still hurting 🙁 x

@cath69 Ohh weird! Did you take anything? Or just let it go overnight? Nah I know what you mean, my recovery has been easy and now it’s like ughh. Xx

No didn’t take anything coz didn’t have anything in. It just went over night. Really strange, it might of been heat rash coz we had heating on I was sat in my dressing gown plus the bra I’m guessing I might of been to warm xx

Well one incision is OK it’s the other one that’s really sore still but looks OK I think xx

Mine feel the exact same- exactly as you’ve described. The bumbs in the road when im in the car has been awful and the sides of my boobs have this weird achy feeling and my nipples feel like theyre sunburnt- i just want to be braless at the moment ! xx

@claire-marie It’s horrible isn’t it, but I’m glad I’m not alone! I was starting to think something was wrong tbh.

I’ve been led in bed braless for the last hour lol. But I know I need to put my bra back on to sleep 🙁 xx

@hannahlaura yeah I hadn’t seen anyone mention it on here before so I was like what’s going on with me! So it’s reassuring knowing it’s not just me.

Aww I’ve just put mine back on now too:( my skin is so dry too at the moment and my bra just rubs against it :/ xx

@claire-Marie my nurse advised me to use moisturiser on them daily but not get the moisturiser on the incisions. I have been doing that daily and just bought bio oil instead.

I noticed that when I didn’t do it yesterday, I woke up so dry this morning. Xx

@hannahlaura Ah yeah, i’ve been putting moisturiser on them too every day- its getting better slowly but like you said one day if i don’t my skin is just completely peeling off! its horrible.

Do you think bio oil will work better? I’ve got some of that because i wanted to use it on my scars after the 6 weeks so could try that then xx

@claire-marie yeah I feel bio oil is better as more moisture, I tend to sit for about half hour without my bra once I’ve put it on tho as worried my bra might get oilly lol.

I bought it for my scars as well, but waiting for the 6 weeks mark. I’m just really careful about missing that area at the moment xx

@hannahlaura I’m so glad you’ve said this mine are so sore and I’m 19 days PO my right ones also a bit swollen too, was thinking there was something wrong x

@caitlinford ah Hun I know it’s horrible I’m now 18DPO and it’s still the same. I have put aftersun on the sides and it surprisingly helps a little. I definitely find evenings worse though. How’s your recovery going other than that? Xx

It’s fine apart from that and my right ones a bit swollen, it was bad the first 4 days as I had shooting pains all down my side but they told me it was fine. Are you going all okay? Who did you Op? @hannahlaura

Traynor did mine, I’ve noticed today ones starting to drop quicker than the other, can’t wait to be sorted! They’re really sore in the middle too. @hannahlaura

I have had the same feeling for the last 2 days, and that description of feeling like sunburn is exactly how it feels.. such an annoying feeling! I have noticed they are starting to settle and the swelling is going down so I am putting the sensitivity down to this

Yeah I definitely think it’s when the swelling starts to go down. Mine isn’t so bad now, it’s slowly getting better 🙂 x
