Just wanted to share with you ladies my amazing experience from my surgery yesterday at Mya London Fitzroy.
I arrived shortly before 7am which was my admission time, I went and sat in the waiting room and within 5minutes I was being shown my room which I shared with another wonderful lady. The woman who took me in was very friendly and helpful, my BP, temp, height, weight and urine sample were taken. I then got dressed into my surgery garments and before I knew it, the anaesthetist came to see me. He explained everything and answered any questions I had, he was very friendly, polite and funny too. My surgeon Dr Linda Fiumara then came shortly after to draw on me/take pictures etc. This woman has the hands of an angel! She’s amazing in every way! By 8:45am I was ready to go down to theatre and another lovely lady came to walk down with me. They made me feel very comfortable despite feeling so nervous, I thought I would vomit!
Before I knew it I was waking up, with amazing boobs!I was shaking from the anaesthetic wearing off, and i could feel these amazing warm fans blowing on me in recovery which was such a nice feeling! I was back in my room by 11:40am.
I cannot thank the staff enough! Daniela and Daniele, the 2 main people who helped me during my stay, are truly amazing! Such beautiful people, so incredibly friebdly and warning. They are a total credit to the hospital!
Later, after surgery, around 7pm my surgeon came around to personally check which bras i had bought, she made sure it fitted correctly and helped me put it on with another member of staff, and then advised on the next bra I need to get for extra support. It was all perfect.
I had 450cc HP partially under the muscle and I’m in love with them! Today they feel tight, but the pain is much more manageable today and sleeping on the sofa was a much easier experience than when I tried to sleep in bed lol! Yesterday I wasn’t able to even go to the toilet by myself! Today I can!
For anyone who’s nervous, unsure, worried etc, you are in totally safe hands! I can’t praise everyone enough for the treatment I received while in their care! X
