1mpo mastopexy HP unders 375cc dr fiumara

Hi everyone!

I’ve been on here for 9 months researching about my Uplift and now that I’ve had mine done I thought I would help others considering an uplift with implants.

I lost about 4 and a half stone when I was 17 and thought about an uplift for 6 years, now 24. I loved having small boobs and being smaller as to me, I feel I could wear more clothes but HATED them without a bra, I couldn’t take it off ever with my boyfriend at the time-I’m not joking and my self consciousness effected everything that it would end relationships and I just didn’t feel like a woman. I felt all my hard work losing weight was tarnished with saggy cow udders.

I chose Dr Fiumara as I wanted the natural look, for me, I made it perfectly clear to her during my first consultation I hate big fake boobs and she completely understood and agreed- she doesn’t operate to achieve that look. She prides on natural and perfection!

She would decide on unders of overs on the day of op and the sizes ranges from 300, 325, 350 and 375cc all in mod plus or up, so she had about 8 implant types on the op to choose from as my case was quite difficult and severe in terms of minimal breast tissue and shape deformity. I’ve seen her work and her medical credentials and the fact she is a reconstructive breast surgeon- trusted her. Basically told her the look I wanted and let her decide the rest!

I’m so happy, I’m only 1mpo and still abit of discomfort and pain on the sides from my left (as that had more trauma) nipple basically looked black 1wpo!! But it’s all healing nicely.
It really is all about patience and I was concerned about something new every week no matter how little it seemed. I had to go bad every week due to keeping an eye on my left and only had my dressings off 4wpo! I can shower yay!

Here are some progresss pics. my left breast (right in the pic) hasn’t dropped as much as my right and the nipple has a bit of scabbing all over it. My op took 5 hours! I’m at 5 and came out at 10pm. They change weekly so be patient girls! Highly recommend Dr fiumara, she is so sweet, understanding and is a perfectionist and she doesn’t get enough credit!

Hey babe

I had a modified mastopexy and BA with Linda on Thursday! My op took longer than originally thought too! How are your scars doing? I haven’t seen any of mine yet and am dying to see how they’re looking! How’s your recovery been? X

My scars are so neat and slightly pink atm with still a bit of scabbing. I’ve got the all clear for showering now so hope it will soften the skin and they will drop away. My scars underneath on my crease are so small! I was shocked!

Aww how are you feeling? Are you happy with them? As I went under the muscle I’m Not going to lie my recovery was torture the first 4-5 days. Day 3 being the worst. I was bed bound with what felt like two bowling balls under my chest muscles. And the medication made me so sick, bloated and nauseous and I didn’t go to the bathroom for a week!

I knocked my left accidentally on day 5 and my nipple was purple black I was so scared I had necrosis. I’ve lost feeling in the nipple but it’s healing very well now and I don’t mind about the sensation going- it may come back.

People don’t really prepare you for the pain and I wish someone did not that it would put me off, just so I was better prepared.

Buy a pregnancy V pillow If you don’t already have one, lifesaver!!! I’m still sleeping upright out of precaution even though I don’t have to and I find sleeping absolutely fine!

What cc and profile did you go for? And did you go over or under the muscle? Or did you let dr fiumara choose?

Wow your pictures are fantastic I am also looking at a uplift and implant im a 34g in a bra but they are just empty after 8 children. I was looking at Dr Mounir but your pics are so amazing I might change my mind. Whereabouts did you have your procdedure x

I went under the muscle- Linda said it would look more natural and because I have very little up top I can’t really have overs and I didn’t have enough tissue. I was toying between 375 and 400 for months and saw her twice to keep trying them on. But in the day of surgery I had asked if 425 was an option. I’d already asked my Pc to get them ordered just incase. Linda initially said it would be too much of a squeeze but she re read her notes and said she had written it in our very first consultation. So after she re examined me she said she would try. She got them in JUST lol.
With regards to profile I left it entirely down to her- because of my gap. I knew she wouldn’t let me leave the theatre until she was happy and she did exactly that. I ended up with HP in the end.

I’m 5 days post op today and today and yesterday I’ve actually been able to get dressed and go out. I was in agony up until day 3, I think I’ve just got used to the dull aches and soreness now. I stopped taking cocodamol on day 3 and swapped to just paracetamol, it made me soooo fat and bloated and uncomfortable I couldn’t take it anymore.

I cannot wait to have a proper shower! I’ve got my first post op appointment on Friday so I’ve xcited to finally see my incisions and what the hell my nipples and areolas look like. ATM they’re just sticking out like wine gums all purple and numb lol!

I’m really finding sleeping difficult and have ended up with my back in bits because of it but a hot water bottle has soothed it a little! I’m just excited to see all the changes in the next months! X
