1st day home

Hey girls, I had my op yesterday set my alarm to take pain killers evey 4 hours woke up feeling very dizzy hot and sick, I’ve not taken
any since half 3 this morning and im not in painI just ache so gonna stop taking them and just take my antibiotics. I’ve got my strapping on and my sports bra feels very tight but surly it better to keep them supported right?? X

Hi keeley u don’t need a sports bra if ur wearing the strapping was told my surgeons it supports u perfectly

Oh really, the nurse told me to wear it? It does feel tight when I take it off they ache more:/ you think I should take it off?? X

If its tight yes, try get someone to pick u up a larger one? My nurse told me only have it on after strapping but some ppl prefer it over strapping

Just took it off–ahhh heaven feels less heavy and achy! Will leave it of for today and get a bigger one tomorrow 🙂 thanks x

Hi Keeley, Im 4 days post op and the nurse of the hospital told me the same..dont need to wear bra if I wearing the strapping cos is already very supportive.But speaking with MYA nurse that day she advise me to wear it..So Im wearing but a size bigger otherwise you cant even breath! x

Brilliant thank you Laura, will go an invest in a bigger size tomorrow as mine is far to tight at the moment x
