Hi everyone,
I had my surgery on 16th January with Linda Fuimara so tomorrow I will be going for my one week check up. I thought I’d post this to help those girls who are looking for smaller implants as I struggled to find girls with similar stats to me pre-op. I was so worried about my results that I worked myself up in to a stress and developed boob greed before I had even had my surgery. I’m still very early on in the recovery process but I can honestly say I’m so glad I listened to my surgeon.
I have ‘severe chest wall a-symmetry’ which means that one side of my rib cage sticks out further than the other. This meant that I required two different sized implants. Another issue is that my chest wall is a sort of convex shape, meaning that if my implants were too big, my boobs would slide under my arm pits. This meant that the biggest sizes Dr Fuimara could offer me was 250cc (r) and 275cc (l). After seeing such amazing results on here with much bigger implants, I was devastated. I desperately wanted bigger implants, I even started getting boob greed months before my surgery.
I’m so happy I listened to Dr Fuimara, they’re the perfect size for my frame. I’m 5ft8 and around 7 stone. Although I have a gap between my boobs, there is nothing that can be done to change that as my chest wall protrudes too far forward. I’m so happy with my results so far! I’ve attached a before and after picture so anyone who’s been offered smaller implants can see that implant size is relative to your frame! Don’t work yourself up in to a stress and trust your surgeons!
I can’t wait to see how much they continue to change in the next few weeks!!!
They look amazing hun! You must be thrilled! I found Linda so lovely when I met her.
Im in week tomorrow! eek!
Best of luck going forward hun xxx
HI Lorna,
She’s really really great! She’s such a perfectionist too, so you know you’re in excellent hands!
Good luck with your surgery, it’s not half as painful as you expect it to be! Hope all goes well xx
We have the exact same boobs but opposite sides haha. I had 250 (l) and 275(r) unders. I’m 13 DPO today.
How you feeling? Xx
Haha boobie twins! I feel absolutely fine, I thought the whole process would be a lot more painful than it actually has been! Did you go under or over the muscle? And what profile did you get? Xx
Hey they look great! Did you have overs or unders? Xx
They look fab! Your surgeon got it spot on, they really suit your frame. I’m the same height as you but heavier and had 325 unders. It all sounds about right for me. Can’t wait to see them Monday. Good luck with the rest of your journey xx
Hi Liz,
I had unders. Week 1 for me was awful, I could barely move and it was way more painful than I thought it would be! Basically my left one swelled up so badly it was agony, but it’s doing much better now 🙂 glad yours went well! Do you have more pics on your profile?
Xx
@lucy1987 you know you mentiond one swelled up, im 3 days po.. An one with larger implant has swollen huge an gets warm to touch like alot of heat. Did you have this or just swelling? My other breast is calm an small like no pain. Iv had unders xx hope u can help
Hi Becky,
Yeah it was my smaller implant but it swelled up so badly and it was very sore for days. I couldn’t even touch it! And yes it had some heat in it and i got some bruising around it. I iced it and that helped with the pain slightly. It does go down, just takes time! Don’t panic, its normal. Xx
Yeh mine has. I dont have any bruisin just feels hot an big.
I have been usin ice pack to help.
Just worrying its an infection as my drain insition started leakin blood. Thankyou xx
Hi @slcom I had mod plus under the muscle. I wanted a really really natural looking boob, which wasn’t high up on my chest so I think I unders were the obvious choice for me!
@charlottefiona29 thank you! Hope it all went well hun and your recovery isn’t too painful!
@lucy1987 ahh that’s awful! I assume you feel ok now though? Funnily enough my smaller implant was much more painful than my larger one, but my small one started to drop within the first week! So weird how your boobies just seem to have a mind of their own haha!
Hi @beckiea I think one boob swelling and hurting more than the other is really common. If you’re worried you should call your nurse or the 111 emergency line. There’s also some plastic surgery forums where you can speak directly to surgeons online, try searching them, I found them really reassuring. Hope everything gets better soon hun, best wishes!
Xx
