Hey girls,
Thought I’d write a quick update now I’ve had my surgery. Firstly I would like to say how amazing the MYA Fitzroy team were- all the nurses and of course not to mention my surgeon Dr Mashhadi. I honestly had the best experience and can’t thank/recommend then enough! The anesthetic went smoothly and I don’t remember anything I felt as though I’d just been asleep for 20 minutes and it was all over ( but apparently I came round from the anesthetic funny and tried to get off the trolley!!!) due to the lengthy procedure- I had implants with sizers (ended up with both 300cc high profile unders), intrinsic release, nipple reduction and sutures around the nipple to correct tubular breasts, the first night I was on morphine so didn’t feel much. I experienced a bit of sickness and discomfort but nothing too much. The one thing that I didn’t think about which is annoying more than anything is you can’t pull your pants up or down or put your hair up!!? the drive home (about 2 hours) was initially quite uncomfortable but I slept most of it. Getting in and out of a car and even the bed is difficult as you have to try and use your legs and not your arms. I’ve found it’s easiest to dig your heels into the bed and lift with your abdominal muscles to reduce the need of your arms. Yesterday evening my boobs were like rocks so hard and swollen and I could barely breath. That’s another thing that’s worse than I expected is the shortness of breath. The breast band I’m wearing is tight and it’s forcing the implants down making them heavier on my chest (as if they weren’t already) and it’s also giving me a bad back, I don’t know if anyone’s experienced the same thing? I’ve also got bruising on my ribs which is sore and tender. All in all its been bearable but all I’d say is don’t underestimate the recovery for unders. Everyone is different but personally I’d say you need to do as little and possible and basically be waited on hand and foot so be prepared? any questions just ask?
I’m having dr mashhadi on the 22nd of December and I also have mild tubular breast, I’m havinf 300cc unders and a modified matsopexi. I hope this is enough to correct the look of mine. I have such a phobia of sick I really hope I don’t have that! I’m so nervous! Have you got a before and after photo?
Hi babes sounds almost the same as me then!! If I’m going to give you my best advice it’s to put your full trust into Dr Mashhadi he honestly does know his stuff and I would definitely revoked him for this type of surgery. Plus he’s good at making you feel calm about the whole thing. I wasn’t actually sick but everyone’s different just make sure you eat them you should be fine. Don’t be nervous it will come around and be over before you know it and then new boobs for christmas!! Add me and I’ll send you them directly xxx
How long till you got to go home after? How’s the recovery going? Yeah I’m just trying not to think to much about the procedure until it’s happening. I’ve added you so should be able to send them now xx
I had to stay in overnight and was discharged about 11 am the following day. It’s okay thank you! I stopped taking the painkillers I was given yesterday as they were making me feel sick and I feel much better! Staying hydrated has helped and I’ve struggled a bit with the cold weather and found I’ve needed to wrap up more than usual (the weather doesn’t help anyway of course) because I’ve been shivering but that could still be the effects of the medication. You will honestly be fine when it gets closer you’ll be more excited than anything and once it’s over you’ll wonder what you were even worried for! I hope it all goes well for you xx
Did you plan to stay in overnight or did they need to admit you?
I planned to stay overnight as my surgery was quite complex x
Please don’t worry about being sick I also have that phobia, but I asked for anti sickness whilst I was under and also after each dose of morphine, really helps !!
Ah thank you I was going to ask if I could have the anti sickness medicine before hand so that’s good to no they can do that. Really hope I don’t feel/be sick ??
I am booked in with Mr Mashhadi on 27th.. so excited!! I have tubular breasts as well. Still unsure whether to change my 325ccs to 350s?!!
Is there a specific time you need to leave by the next morning or can you stay there all day if you dont feel well enough to go home ?Also, do you have a private room if staying overnight?
Thanks xxx
Isabellek yeah you get a private room for the day and night:) i think i was told about 10:30am time to start getting ready to leave and i waited for my lift to arrive but im sure they’d let you stay if you weren’t okay xx
I’m having 350 hp unders with Mr Mashhadi in London Fitzroy on the 23rd and this is so good to hear! Very excited and a bit nervous as I’ve never had an op or been under anaesthetic before but can’t wait to wake up with bigger boobs!
Heidi, you were good to leave at 1030am?! What was your admission time? My admission is 8am., I didn’t realise it was all over so quick!
I had quite a big op and I left at about 11 the next morning feeling fine!! You think you’re going to be feeling bad but honestly it all subsides quickly your body is a great healer. Don’t worry about the sickness it’s not too bad and the end result will be worth it. Just trust your nurses and anesthetist they usually give you some anti sickles and morphine before you wake up anyway. Hope it all goes well for you ladies x
Hiya I know this is quite an old post but I’m having this exact surgery. Do you have any post-op photos? Only difference is I’m getting mod-plus instead of ultra. I’m wondering what the overall shape and nipple ended up like. Hope you’re happy with it all x
