I’m having mine done two weeks tomorrow & I’m super excited but really nervous about the recovery, having drains out & having strapping!! But hopefully it will all be worth it in the end!! Xxx
Having mine on Wednesday and soooo excited!! Not too worried about recovery, kind of looking forward to the time off work to be honest haha!
Kim, not all surgeons use drains, so before you go under mention to your surgeon that you don’t want them and he might reconsider if he was planning on using them 🙂
Sorry for butting in but just thought I’d mention how important the drains are… A friend of mine had her boobs done a few weeks back and never had drains and after op suffered blood clots I think but this would of been prevented had she of had drains. I’m having my boobs done next month and will 100% be asking for drains as a couple of seconds pain from removing them is so worth preventing complications xx
She wasn’t with Mya but I know she went through a hell of a time and is only now starting to heel and feel better. The drains are used to monitor how much blood is lost etc so in my eyes are seen as rather important. Really not trying to scare anyone just wanted to be honest xx
Having my op tomorrow morning. Admission is at 7.30. Have to say I am sh*t scared but defo looking forward to the end result!! I am having drains aswell. Friends who have had it done have both recommended them xx

I had my op last week Tuesday, I had the drains and suffered a blood clot in my left boob!
It was a nightmare but I’m happy, fine and super super happy with my boobs!
I don’t want to post the drama on the forum but happy to answer any questions via private message if you have any!
The drains definitely help with this though!

Yay 2 weeks for me to well 13days now hahahahahaha can’t wait I think it is flying by but I’m keeping my mind occupied and trying to think about it as much as possible! Is it normal to keep dreaming about boobs hahahahahaha because it’s all I keep doing constantly and it’s always that I’ve gone to big and I look hideous lol :/
My sister had her BA 10th aug and went to have strapping off yesterday to find she has a blood clot and they used drains so she is now back in fitzroy today to have the clot removed and new implant 🙁 she’s so upset x
