Hi Leanne,

My name is Sarah and I’m about 5.3 with blonde hair. I have leopard print slippers which might be the best way to spot me!! I might just randomly shout “Leanne” at some point during the afternoon/evening if we don’t find each other! (Not really don’t worry). I’m hating the idea of staying overnight somewhere I don’t know so it’s really nice to know someone else will be there too and it won’t just be me in an empty hospital!

Now it’s 7.46pm and I’m thinking sod it – lets go!! I’ve been all over the place today but now I’m ready – we’ll be just fine Leanne!! Am going to have something to eat in a bit for the last time….and also am going to have another few looks at my old boobs in the mirror. To make myself feel better I went into La Senza today to be measured, just so I could say “oh no I don’t want to buy a bra today thank you, I’m having my boobs done tomorrow”!!!

Thanks Jacqui – your comments are really helpful and partly the reason for my new found ‘bring it on’ attitude!!

Honestly girls, it is no where near as bad as you think it’s going to be!!!

I had never had a ga before, but i have had 3 children, and giving birth was much more painful that my ba!!!!
I only took the painkillers for days 1 and 2 post op, but that wasn’t because i was in pain, it was ‘just in case’.
I’d go thru it all again, not that i need to cos i love my new boobies

My admission time was 2pm at Highgate, and i was in theatre at 5pm and back in my room at 6.30pm. I was an overnighter, as live over 2 hours drive from London.

And good luck to you other ladies who are in tomorrow and in the near future – I forgot to say I have a number of friends who’ve had them done/uplifted/reduced and they’ve all been on the phone today saying it’ll be like a walk in the park (many of which, I hasten to add, normally cry if they break a nail). We’ll be fine!!

Thank you ladies – I’m just trying to eat lots at the moment so I’m less hungry tomorrow day as my op could be really late on with staying overnight, but I don’t think it quite works like that does it!! This bit of the forum’s been nice to read but I made the mistake of reading a bit too much elsewhere earlier…. I think I found out about things I would prefer to just deal with at the time as it happens if you know what I mean!! My own fault though for carrying on reading I know what I’m like for anticipating the worst!

Thanks for your kind wishes I’ll report my story ASAP!!

Hi Leanne – just wanted to wish you good luck for tomorrow !!!!! I’m 5’7″ and weigh 10 stone and size 10/12 and i had 380 hp overs on 19 August. I’ve gone from a small 36B to 36DD so really happy with my new boobies.

Yeah thats true…..And yes…very nervous!! I was really excited but as it gets closer it’s all I can think about and I keep looking at my boobs thinking ‘you’re not that bad’ and then ‘seeeeee yaaaaaa’ ! Its weird!
