25th October op day

Hi Ladies, just wanted to say what a brilliant day I had today, I had 275cc overs at Preston done by Mr Traynor, I couldn’t be happier everyone was really nice and very supportive. My admission time was 11am, arrived at 10.15am I was in my gown and paper knicker by 11am, went to theatre at 1pm. I arrived back home at 8pm, I live 1hour away from hospital. So far not in much pain just uncomfortable, see what I’m like tomorrow ???? . I will try and attach some pics.????

They look great Karen! I’m still here for an overnight stay. Night staff are just as lovely as the day..and I’m happy with the results so far x

Me too. Pain keeps coming and going, feels more like aching to be honest. I’ve had tramadol, codeine, and am written up for a sleeping tablet if I struggle to sleep..which looks likely as I’m wide awake and have slept most of the day! How about you?x

Hope you girls are ok. I was in yesterday too with Traynor.. What a guy!!!! Love him. All the staff were brilliant especially Alan. Im in quite abit of discomfort today… my macom is proper uncomfortable. And feel like im.struggling to catch my breathe. I had 425cc unders. Xxx

Aw no Rachel! Did they give you some pain relief meds when you left? Im still here, the band I had round me was uncomfy lastnight so they told me to put it round the outside of my pjs and it’s much comfier that way. Don’t know if you have one? They gave me zopiclone lastnight so I had a great sleep!

I literally just met Alan as I read your message and passed on your compliment to him – hope you don’t mind, I just think it’s nice to hear about positive things for people at work!x

I was in yesterday with dr traynor too. Went in expecting 400cc overs and once there he advised I went under the muscle to be sure I couldn’t see any rippling. To say I’m sore today is an understatement! I only have paracetamol and ibuprofen and have a lot of swelling. Hopefully today will we the worst day and things will calm down after that ???? X

Awwww Laura thankyou so much for passing my message and compliments on to Alan. Honestly he was so lovely and caring and i was genuinely gutted when he left at 2pm. I havent got a breast band no, just in my macom bra and its so uncomfortable. Was given paracetomol and ibuprofen so im well on top of it. Start my antiboitics today to. Ooooh Jemma… isnt it bloody horrible. I cant move anything. So much pain. They do say unders are alot more painful but jeeee wizz!!!! My ass is numb… my neck bloody sore lol. I feel like i cant breathe. Can’t wait for this part to be over. Hoping this is the worst day. Did you have any sickness or nausea?? Iv been so lucky. DR traynor doesnt believe in giving codeine as that makes you feel really shitty. So im.chuffed with that. Xxx hope your ok hunny xxxx

Hi girls, I’m in alot of pain this morning as well, didn’t sleep very well, my bum and back hurts from sleeping sar up, and I’m very swollen. My macom isn’t comfortable either, hopefully we will all start to feel a bit better tomorrow.x

Do you have your macom bra on its tightest?? I had to put mone on the least as i felt like i was gunna have a panic attack last night. Xxx

Yes I have mine on the biggest hooks, the nurse put mine on those. Think mine is uncomfortable because I seem to be quite swollen under my arms and macom is cutting into me.x

Thats exactly how i feel… under my arms and cutting in. They say there the best bras to be in though. Think when i start to feel abit more comfortable ill go bk to the right again. Have you had a peek yet?? I look like a bloody severe body builder lol!!!!!

I had a little look but dare not take my macom off, I know what you mean about a body builder tho, mine are high up and look weird lol ,

I got too excited lastnight and had to take my Macom off for a minute lastnight for a pic but it went straight back on. I’m home finally, kinda missing the hospital already and having nice nurses on call! My chest feels so tight and heavy, I’m literally in love with the v pillow right now x
