2days post op! Advice please?

Hey girls! I’m two days post op now still haven’t taken one pain killer or paracetamol I haven’t experienced any pain at all! So strange! I had overs so don’t know whether that has made a diffference or nlt but I’ve had a lovely recovery so far. I have began walking like I have a hunch back though keep reminding myself to stand up straight! !haha one thing I can’t wait for is the numbness to disappear? Does any girls have any advice or know when that will go? It’s mainly the nipple and below my breast I touch it but it’s still quite numb I know I’m still raw just wondering how long that lasted on some girls til it wore off? Xx

I didn’t have any pain to I just took some to say I was taking them haha and the hunch back will go don’t worry! Every one kept laughing at me at home as for 2 weeks I was walking with a hunch as I was so use to it haha 🙂 xxx

I know so weird! did you have any numbness underneath yours as well that’s my only worry I just hope all feeling comes back haha I can slightly feel my nipples again now! which is good haha xxx

Hey! I was the same as you in no pain whatsoever the first 2 days but then my day 3 started to get a lot of pain although it’s not as bad as I expected! Just keep getting stabbing pains and hurts to get in and out of bed xx

Hi Demi I was also numb like you from the nipple down. I am 2WPO now and still am numb. I Deffo have feeling in my nipples, not as much as normal and the rest of my boobs below my nipple are either numb or have a feeling of like pins and needles when I touch them now. I know my nerves are fusing back together now as I keep getting these twinges and obviously the tingling. I asked my nurse at my one week check when the feeling would come back and she said she couldn’t say as everyone is different and it’s to do with how your body heals, some people it’s weeks, others months xxx

@chloe Yeah I can feel more ache in them now than at first but still no pain or anything. I don’t like taking medication either unless I really have to! so just on the antibiotics! xx

@heather Hey hun, yeah that’s exactly what I’m like right now! I would hate to lose all sensitivity and I don’t think I will as I can feel my nipples I keep pinching them a bit so I can feel something haha but yeah true everyone is different I guess i’ll have to see how I am on my one week check up and see what she says! still the best thing ever! haha xxx

So good about the no pain! On day 5 my nipples especially my right one went absolutely nuts and soft hard soft hard all the time and super sensitive! It’s still the same I was hoping I would permanently lose nipple sensitivity lol because I can’t stand it, hopefully it will calm down at some point but below the nipple downwards is still still totally numb nearing 3 weeks on but it doesn’t bother me 🙂 x

@livvy really! no way I prefer my nipples hard and soft though just like they were before haha, I hope the numbness does ease though by 6 weeks atleast downwards cause it just feels too weird for me not to be able to feel them in a way! how many days post op are you now? x
