2ish weeks to go – Does it go quick?

Got my surgery on 25th Feb, I’ve been waiting since 18th October, surgery was supposed to be 10th Dec but was cancelled due to MRSA swabs coming back positive
It’s finally near, and I’ve got just over 2 weeks to go

Does it go quickly? Or does it drag cause you’re so excited

It went really quick for me! I booked in November and just had my op on the 30th of January, I’m 8 days Post Op now. Bet you can’t wait!! Have you decided on size and profile? Xxx

Pop a pick on when you have them done. I’m really excited to but also nervous about being put to sleep. Are you daycase or overnight? Yeah I know a few friends with transform and they’ve been fab so far so hoping it follows through to the surgery and aftercare ☺☺ xx

I’m a daycase so hopefully can go straight there first thing and not have to wait all day lol. What about you?

My surgeon is brilliant, he has won lots of awards and is also a reconstructive surgeon for people with breast cancer so I feel very confident 🙂 xx

Don’t worry about cannulars they dont hurt ive had them during child birth and there more annoying than painful. If you ask them they will put numbing cream on the area before I’m sure. I’m an over night stay as I’m a 2hour drive it’s transforms policy of your more than 30 miles to stay over. Hopefully we both have nice boobies very soon ☺ xx

My ops costing 4650 the hospital looks really nice don’t really mind will prob need the rest with have two little ones at home lol I have taken picks yet to be honest there isn’t much to look at all I have is empty skin really from breast feeding 🙁

Hey Hollie mine went so quick today! Admitted at 9 and went into surgery at 10, ivcoukdnt have the numbing cream cos when the anaesthetist can’t down to see me I was about to go in and it has to be on for about half an hour but it honestly felt like a little scratch cos he was so good lol next thing I’m asleep and then waking up in recovery! It was a good day and does fly by xx

That’s great!! Usually people wait about 3-4 hours !
Ahh that’s a shame you couldn’t have it but I’m glad it didn’t hurt 🙂 it sounds like yours went really well then! Hope mines like that haha

Hi girls 🙂 good luck with both your surgeries i had a consultation with both companies harley medical group was fab and i think thats the 1 i will be going for. I really wanted to.go to transform but the lady i met was really pushy and put me off but have seen some great pics of girls having boob jobs from there….

@hollie can i ask what surgeon u have gone with and what hosp etc ur going to? Obv being on this forum u see great outcomes etc and it a bit worrying u dont see as many with the other 2 companies… if that makes sence lol what mad u both go to transform and harley medical group.

Hey girls, I’m having mine done on 21st Feb (not mya either) and I’m literally counting the minutes till my op! I actually work at the place i’m having mine done so i’m gonna make sure I go first and don’t have to wait! haha hope everyones wait goes quickly!! xxxxx

I chose transform based firstly on recommendation but then after the consultation I really likes them as company so far my consult rep has been fab my surgeon is lovely and me feel at ease when he measured me etc . Paperwork orderlly, nurse lovely, and also changed my admission time for me to suit my children which they didn’t have to do. So far so good I’m due for surgery on the 24th so hopefully no hicups prior and during. I’m so excited now. 🙂 xx

Hiya @samanths-2016 , I booked my consultations with both MYA and Harley medical, and I went purely with Harley because that was the one I had first, and was really happy with them! My PC is really lovely so I was confident to choose them, and cancelled the MYA one
My surgeon is Will Sarakbi, he’s won loads of awards, part of BAAPS, and is an oncoplastic surgeon (cancer reconstruction) and so he seems really experienced
I’m with the Maidstone clinic , and am having surgery at Highgate private hospital in London 🙂

I went to maidstone clinic to and they were lovely and made feel so at ease!! I read up on that doctor and he sounds amazing and thought id choose him too for his qualifications etc . Let us know how u get on and what they are like after…. its nice to see some.1s outcome thats not with mya ???? not long now bet ur so excited are u an overnight case? I think her name was anna lovely lady!! Told me not to rush in to anything etc and Ahh thats good then ???? ill prob be an over night case as i got 2 littles ones at home and wouldnt want 1 jumping on me or the travel home after all that lol… awesome thank you ???? im saving at the mo but getting married in august so got to wait after then to.start seriously looking in to doing anything ???? which is a bit annoying… xx

I had Anna for my initial booking then after that I had the blonde nurse lady!! I’m not very good with names so I assume it might have been Nicky as they are the only two lady’s I’ve seen through my whole process! ???? My surgeon is dr alwin they call him dr G as know one can pronounce his last name!! Are you a day case or over night? Il will ,et you know how it all goes! ☺ xx

Lol yes I had the choice of him and my surgeon, I think they gave me mr Sarakbi cause he was able to do the date I preferred 🙂

I’ve chosen to stay over night as iv got two little ones at home so want to have a bit of reprieve before! Yeah it’s the same with me Hollie dr g was available on my chosen date so went with him! I will Samantha,when is your surgery booked for? Xx

My op is a week after yours at Highgate and it seem to drag. The have my MRSA this Sunday and now I’m really scared that it’s gonna come back positive. I’ve been waiting since the end of October so I don’t know if I can manage any more waiting around haha.

Mines 7:30! Lol, I’m not nervous about the anaesthetic itself, it’s more the idea of the cannula :’)

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this! I go for my consultation next week and will hopefully be soon meeting my surgeon and booking my surgery date. The only thing I’m really dreading about the entire process is the anaesthetic! I live in Leeds and will be travelling an hour home after my BA.

We’re any of you guys sick? I can’t think of anything worse than being in a car for an hour in pain as well as being sick and the thought is really putting me off!

@trudie – sorry I didn’t reply in time lol I haven’t been on here for months! It was fab I loved every minute of it . They’re so nice there, and I was first to go down at 8:30! I had Lucy as my nurse she was so lovely
How did you find it? And how you getting on post op? 🙂
