Thanks ladies and thanks Kelly wish I knew how to do that before but surgeon chose size anyway. Yes I am keeping my bra on. I felt a bit weird last night tingling in legs face and arms My bp and he was low in threate and I think I was given fluid bolus for this but they never told me but fluid bag was nearly empty so tell tale sign. I feel ok today just back ache I only had 3 hrs sleep as also scared of going on my side x

Kelly you definitely deserve it then! Mine was a 30th birthday present from me and my husband. After feeding two kids this is how I looked!

Wow Jess I bet you are pleased with your result they look fab and you too Kelly. Kelly was your husband with you yesterday has he got short beard only asking because when I walked out there was a guy sat in waiting room x

He has a goatie- Craig David style. He thinks he saw you. I’ve obviously been telling him all about you guys and your messages etc. He had a navy blue jumper on. He just said he saw a slim blonde with plaits in. I noticed you had plaits so think it might have been you xx

Yes think it was him. I was looking out for you but guess you was in getting new boobs. Your boobs look fab Are you in pain ? Did you sleep ok? X

Think you might have been in a room a few doors down from me. I was in room 8. I went down at 4 hun and came out a 5.15pm.
Sleeping was crap… kept waking up stiffer and stiffer. Dint really feel in pain as such just really uncomfortable and stiff. When I move about I get the odd twinge to tell me to slow down but nothing I can’t handle. How about you?

I think I was in room 4 a few doors down from theatre. My back is stiff today but just having paracetamol because had a stomach ulcer and trying to avoid ibrufen but had one dose last night I haven’t got feeling in my nipples yet have you? I am just sat in side bed down stairs not doing nothing much a part from the odd walk to the Loo and up every he or so to avoid dvt but then straight back to day time tv lol think I need to fine a series to watch My incisions are not sore at all I am surprised at this I can’t stop smiling still can’t believe it’s done x

I was in room 8 :).
I can feel my nipples the boob a4ound them is lovely and soft but hard as rock everywhere else. My back is stiff and my backside is numb. Just been down into the garden to feed my fish. The pond is my pride and joy I built it last summer. Feel better after a walk.
I keep looking at them smiling. I’m so pleased xxx

Maybe I should walk about a bit more because my back is getting stiffer Well I love my tropical fish I should of really cleaned them out before op but didn’t have time but no way up to that just yet x

Hi ladies
I was in room 4, they must have got me out then put you in Paula,
I keep taking paracetamol and ibuprofen, I don’t really have pain just feel stiff.
I haven’t done much apart from watching tv and having a walk around the house as my bum keeps going numb, I put some clothes in the washing machine & felt a little twinge after so I need 2 rest abit more, I just get so bored. My boobs feel huge today but I think it’s the swelling and my right incisions feel abit stingy, but I probly need 2 take it easy. Can’t believe it’s all done & we are all happy! Xxxx

Yes Nicola at that price it’s like a convaya belt ha. I just have got dressed I needed to move but want to heal aswell so trying not to do anything apart from eat healthy as help heal time loads don’t think my maccies helped last night but was my treat for being brave haha. Don’t think I could do the washing I won’t even bend over Have you both had unders? I am scared of mine moving I just had another look standing up they are massive hope the go down just a little bit ha don’t look massive in clothes or bra x

I had unders yes… I also feel like they are going to pop out or something. It’s so hard to move without feeling twinges. It’s infuriating because I’m used to doing so much… I’m not eating healthy. My fella can’t cook so he’s just brought me a cheese pasty and some bread. I was starving. I usually eat really healthy all the time so it’s gonna kill me. xxx

Those of you with unders, do you have a strap round the top? X

I had overs, how about u? I’ve heard there not as painful as unders,,, I’m trying to be healthy but just want cups of tea with biscuits! Ha
My husband can’t cook so I reckon I’m gunna end up having takeaways this weekend,, I had a little nap this afternoon and have woke up feeling very stiff,,,, I’m not going to attempt any more washing or homework! Xxx

No Jess… Dr Traynor doesn’t use straps and I’m glad really because I imagine they are uncomfortable. Do you have a strap?
I keep getting a funny feeling in my left boobs like the muscle moving or something. It doesn’t hurt but it’s not a very nice feeling… hope that stops soon.
I’ve decided to send my other half to tesco tomorrow for some boxed salads.. My guts can’t cope with unhealthy food x

Lucky for me he does the cooking and my eldest two are helping out with house work I am not lifting a finger I want to heal well and don’t want an infection I am surprised you are so Moblie then Kelly if they are unders I also had a nap this afternoon and woke feeling stiff I can’t wait for this aching back to go away When are your appointments to get dressings off? Mines the 9th x

I’ve been told off twice today by Tony for trying to tidy up… I’m murder. I need to slow down a bit but it’s hard when you’re used to going at 100mph.
Just had to slacken the straps on my sports bra as it was irritating my incisions. It feels miles better now but worried I might be wearing it too loose. When I looked at it in the mirror earlier though the back was miles further up than the front. That’s not how a bra should sit is it… never had to worry about these things before lol

I was exactly the same with my bra I adjusted the straps then put them back like the nurse did incase I was wearing it to slack I don’t know what the correct way is sorry just hoping mines right. I don’t think my back is higher and the adjustment clips are just before top of shoulders the bottom keeps turning up at the front I have never given so much thought to my boobs ha it’s normal get straps as tight as I can to lift them haha x

Yes I’ve got a strap going round the top. It’s a bit unpleasant. I’m quite stiff and sore now and getting drowsy from the meds. Another early night needed I think x

Im in alot of discomfort but no pain jus pressure, ache n stiff and swelling is alot more than i expected
I had 435 over in end

I’m the 2nd of Aug too I had overs 400cc 450cc however one boob is a lot more swollen than they other, and I’m in pain taking tramadol and have got ice pack on to take swelling down. I was in room 7 . X They was someone who was in next room to me screaming so didn’t get discharge til 7. X

Oh no screaming I feel one of mine is bigger and higher than the other but it should be treated as two separate ops and hoping all will even out in the weeks to come but still love them they are 100 times better Did you have overs? X

Hi Paula I had overs and mine are massive I can’t wait for them to settle down I was shock at size of them really lol. Aw no way they may need time to settle hope you get sorted soon xx I’m in a bit of pain but it’s down to swelling the ice pack has worked well xx

I think mine are big and they are 400 hp what size was you prior to op? X

I was a 36 b and c before.. I said I wanted dd cup to Dr Traynor that was my desired look. I think they maybe more x who was your surgeon? X

Loved reading all this it’s given me some hope for feeling better tomorrow as I’ve had a nightmare with it all today really. So much pain/nausea/dizziness and despite having my op at 9 they’re keeping me overnight as not been well at all really. Really pleased with my new boobies though! I’ve wanted them done since college 10 years ago when I realised they were not going to change. Always tried to convince myself I was fine as I was but can definitely say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m getting married next year too so I can actually look at dresses without a high neckline now!

Hope you ladies are all still recovering well? Kelly, I’m dreading not being able to help out/do things either. No children yet but im one of these that never sits down as I always find a job to do! xx

Can’t imagine how bad the swelling must be for larger implants. Only a few more days of discomfort ladies.
Clare it sounds.like you’ve had a right old time of it today. At least you know you’re in the best place. Guess what, we are hoping to get married next year too.

Hi girls. I’m a bit fed up now. As you can see it’s stupidly early and I’m wide awake. Just taken some more meds so hoping I’ll doze off again soon. I’m pretty sore now which I can handle but it worries me in case it’s not normal. It must be though, right?

A few people I know who’ve had the surgery have told me days one and two are the worst so I’m really hoping to feel a bit better by the end of Friday!

I am also getting desperate to have a little peak again. I’m worried they’re quite big!

How are you all getting on with washing?

Hi girls I must of had 4 hrs sleep I am a bit sore under my left boob this morning it’s time for pain killers Jess don’t worry from reading on here it’s normal to have some pain we have be cut open and had forgien body put in. I just miss my sleep Baby wipes to wash at the min can face a bath just yet X

Ah ladies it’s not easy this recovery business is it .. sorry to hear you’re both suffering. had an awful night too.. got woken at 1am for antibiotics and then was dying to nip to the toilet but could barely stand so had more codeine. I then woke at 3.30 in agony with my chest feeling ridiculously tight and then again at 5.30 when the pain got so bad I literally couldn’t move any inch of my top half! Asked for pain killers and got told we’re coming round at 6… at 6.45 Im now put on another paracetamol drip. An hour and a quarter in absolute agony!! I’m eating now and drinking so hopefully will be discharged later this morning despite the pain? Xx

Meant to add, Kelly we have quite a few similarities don’t we! Think of all the lovely dresses we can wear now 🙂 Hope you’re feeling better and got a good nights sleep? Xx

I got about 5 hours. The discomfort isn’t great when you first wake up in the morning. I don’t know if it’s because you get used to the feeling when awake or if it’s genuinely worse because of lack of pain killers. Taken some meds and feeling OK again now. My left boobs is more swollen and my right incision is itchy, which I hope means I’m healing.
Clare I hope you feel better soon. Try to think about how you’ll feel in a few days when the pain has subsided rather than how you feel now. Hopefully it will get easier for you when you get home and you can focus on other ‘normal’ things rather than your new boobs. You can do it hun… us women are built to laugh in the face of pain xxx

Morning ladies
I had a few hours sleep last nite and have woke up with sore shoulders and a tight chest, swelling seems about the same in each boob at the minute ,,,, ohhh I also have a numb bum from sleeping sat up, think that’s the most annoying part.
I’m not in as much pain as I thought I would be, I’ve found ice packs really help and just taking regular paracetamol. I’m due back on 9th to get my plasters changed, I’m going to try and not keep peeking at them until then, but it’s so difficult . I’m really pleased with them but I do hope they go down a little and it’s the swelling making me feel like Dolly Parton!haha xxx

Morning ladies I woke up feeling a bit better this morning still a bit of pain and a numb bottom lol. My boob has gone down quiet a lot this is due to the ice pack … I also want to peek but they are still very swollen I have my date on the 8th so will take some pics then and up load them. It’s only second day and I’m still on strong meds . Take it easy ladies house jobs will always be there when your fit to do some. X hope your Not in too much pain Clare take care everyone.x was any of yous given exercises to do, I have read that some people were given these after 7 days. I didn’t get any. X x

Well I decided to get a shallow bath as I couldn’t cope with feeling grubby any longer and now I feel lovely and clean however, just stood on the scales and I’ve put on about 10lb since going in for surgery… My stomach is massive. Is anyone else having this issue?

Funny you say that Kelly! I’m really bloated and even look a bit pregnant! I’m taking codeine and that has constipation as s side effect. TMI but I haven’t been to the toilet since the op so it could be that, plus next week is my period so I think the two together have combined to make me fat! I had a bath too and felt better, also changed into a clean bra which hurt so bad!

Morning ladies hope things get better for us all I am sure they will. I also have a bloated abdomin it from having anaesthetic I guess it better go away or it gonna be bigger than my boobs I feel my boobs look a bit better today the are evening out but one slightly still bigger I have taken my bra off for a quick peek ever day can’t help myself ha I tried to lift the kettle today I hurt myself I feel a bit frustrated today don’t think I would manage If I had toddlers or babies x

Yeah feel really bloated also. No way 10lb omg I feel like I’m carrying two cannon balks around at present I can’t wait for this swelling to go down . X

Oh no I’ve been warned about all this bloatedness, sounds like I have it all to come. Drink plenty of fluids!

Thanks Kelly I was discharged about 10.30 so I’m back home now and trying to find a comfy place is another ball game in itself!

My nurse said to try and keep moving every so often but I’m in so much pain it hurts to shuffle on the bed let alone stand up!! Did any of you ladies manage pottering around? Also my bra feels like it’s digging in but not sure if this is just my incisions being sore as I didn’t feel like it was yesterday? Has anyone else had this? Not sure whether to change it to a bigger one I bought or whether to leave it for now?? Xxx

I find walking about slowly OK but it’s the getting up and down or shuffling in bed that’s the worst! I’ve got a three year old and a one year old and my husband is taking charge of them brilliantly but they don’t really understand why they can’t climb on me like usual! He’s off work until the 14th so I need to get better soon!

Does anyone know when things are meant to get a bit easier?

Hi Clare my bra has been very tight but I have just left it on and it got better . I thought I got the wrong size but it feels better today. I was told to push my shoulders down and move my arms and take deep breathes in and out keep the muscles going around the chest. Hope this helps x x i still am using the ice pack its helping with the swelling. Xx

I woke up stiff this morning but i’m feeling a million times better this afternoon. I’ve pottered about a little. Only nipping downstairs a couple of times a day as i’m sat upstairs, watching friends, and getting my planning done.
Most girls tend to say that days 2-4 are the worst and then things get rapidly better.
Just keep soldiering on ladies there’ll be light at the end of the tunnel soon i’m sure.
My 3 year old is not happy that he can’t give me big cuddles.. he tried to jump off his bed and onto me yesterday I almost fainted in sheer panic. He thinks I have a sore back. I haven’t got the words to explain to him what’s really going on.
