2nd August Preston ladies???

Hi ladies feeling better today been out for a walk with the dogs and had a bath my husband washed my hair the whole bathroom was wet but I wasn’t wet that much including my hair lol but woke with bruising more round the back and front of right boob they are still swollen a bit not taking any pain killers so hoping for glass of wine later ???? x sound like you are all healing really well so please take care everyone. Xx

Hahaha Kelly period week that made me laugh the things us girls have to do to have boobs They look good Stephane Well I went out to the bloody Trafford centre big mistake was scared of someone banging into me I was walking as slow as a snail had to come to the car and wait for the family so just resting up now but bet I will sleep tonight Well done Stephane getting out too x

Sometimes being a woman has it’s perks lol…
Is anybody else experiencing really itchy incisions? It’s driving me daft. I’m hoping it means i’m healing well.

Well fell straight asleep after getting in Since going my boobs are getting feeling I think I woke them up started feeling like when they fill up with milk and it’s time to feed but I got no baby to relive them. My left boob been so itchy underneath I think it must be them scabing it’s annoying I got a new bra today sports one its not as tight as Macon one but I just hope it’s giving me enough support but the other one annoys my wounds. X

Mine are Yianna bras. I git a small and a medium. I alternate between the two the medium is a bit big in the smallest setting and the small is just right and the biggest setting. They are so comfy. I’m so pleased because I usually play so much sport and I know I’ll be able to carry on using them. Best thing is they were only a portion of the price of a macom xx

My mateswho had boob jobs recommended Macon and one of the other girls who’s had them done said out of all her mates the two that followed sleeping in sports bra forever their boobs stayed up so my plan is to wear one forever at night apart from the odd night haha. I got medium I did not intended to fit in a large bra hahaha Do you know when swelling is supposed to go down ? Or is that done now ? X

I think there’s still time yet. Mine are definitely still a little swollen. Well my left is anyway xxx

Paula my sister in law had a boob job two years ago and she said it had taken her six months for her boobs to settle down but the swelling went after 12 weeks think hers were 400cc also. Think I’m gonna buy new bra tomoz this one is really tight around my ribs.

It’s my right one that’s still a little bit bigger and that’s the one I feel not pain but twinges in Thanks Stephanie, so there is loads of time for them to go down I don’t mind the size but when I read things about fluffing I just think I don’t really want them any bigger So glad I got this new bra it’s much more comifer and that’s where mine was hurting Stephanie under my boobs I am aching like crazy again now feel like my backs broken sorry to moan but feel like I cant moan at home any longer as he said its self inflicted think he’s had enough of me lol. He’s been great really ha

I know what you mean Paula my 16 year old daughter pulls a face at me that’s cos I’ve had them done she has no sympathy at all and my husband is getting sexual frustrated has he can’t touch the big boobs lol…. I have got to say the pain has gone today just uncomfortable my right boob is massive due to swelling I hope this go’s soon and I like my left boob it’s starting to get soft . I think my sister in law is gonna bring some bras round today she still has loads so gonna try hers first before buy new one . Yes moan away ladies… I’m a bit more achy today too think I might have overdone it yesterday a little. Keep getting shooting pains in my right boob but my left boob is now settling down. It’s much softer in top today than it was yesterday… sleeping upright is really bothering me now. My back feels like it’s gonna shatter lol

Here goes a moan again haha thanks ladies. I am aching like crazy my back isn’t great at the best of times and it can’t deal with this sleeping up right but don’t want these boobs round my side so I will stick to the rules. I can’t stop pain killer due to my back I just wish I could fast forward time a little My mans goning to work to day so I won’t be able to ring me bell haha only joking haven’t got one really that would push him over the edge ha. I am getting a bit of a dragon too I put it down to lack of sleep. So glad I am not back at work until the26th. When are you ladies back at work? Hope them Bras fit you Stephanie it will save you a bit of money xx

I’m only back in September thank goodness… my fella has also gone back today. (Love the idea if the bell- we actually have one that says ring for a cup of tea- wish I’d used it now) lol.
I don’t think there is any way of getting to the bottom.other than scrolling through all 5 pages. Other option would be to start a new thread or even a whattsapp group- if you were all up for it that would be much easier to handle than this page lol.
I have several whattsapp groups I’ve frames with different groups of people- it’s a great way of staying in touch lol.
I’m having my nails done tonight- it sounds sad but I’m so excited- I run my own netball club I play, coach and umpire and league rules are that you can’t have nails at all… I’m. making the most of my few weeks off. Although I am going coaching two.different sessions tonight. I think I’m a bit obsessed lol. They are all green women though and are aware I’ve had my op so I’ll be able to do a lot of talking and watching and not much else…. what have you ladies all got planned fpr today? x

Hi girls sorry for my lack of replies yesterday. Other half was back at work so actually had a few visitors which was nice and then was shattered but on the whole had a much better day . My mum tried washing my hair but failed to get into any comfy position so my friend just plaited it later on for me. Really want it washed though.

Regarding not telling people I have only told my v close family on my mum’s side as she had one years ago so knew they’d all be ok but no one on my dad’s side as know they would all have something to say. Also told v close friends and my boss just incase anything went wrong and couldn’t be there in time for new class! Back at work on 4th September but that’s only because of the school holidays. Also not told partners family so Kelly I can’t blame you with having the Mother Nature excuse!! I’ve come to the conclusion now that if anyone asks I’ll tell them as although I wouldn’t like gossiping, I know that no one else’s opinion matters but my own!

Please moan away ladies, feels so much better to vent. My back is in agony too woke up 3 times last night to rearrange my pillows and honestly felt like my lower back was on fire. Yesterday evening I think my back was in more pain than my boobs. Also I have the worst morning boob as well today, I’m so stiff! It’s really frustrating me that I can’t laugh either… it hurts so much! My partner took a picture of me last night in my pillow fort as he found it hilarious and said I looked like I was in my own special pillow racing car (two pillows by my side, behind my head etc) well my left boob felt like it was flying out of my chest every time I laughed! Very annoying!

Kelly I get your excitement at having your nails done as I also can never have them being a nurse. I am going to chill today after my adventure yesterday lol. I have a pretty busy week I got dressing checked on Wednesday having hair done Thursday colour and extensions put in and lashes Friday I am going to be like a new woman My fella isn’t impressed he hates fake haha. Yes I am happy to send you my number I will do it privately though as you never know who could be on here ha then we can set up what app group I have got a dress now for the wedding thank god as that was had with these bras. I am going to tan too on Friday but not my boobs . As for people knowing I told a few friends but that’s it I might have a glass of wine tonight seeing as the antibiotic have finished x

WhatsApp will be loads better than scrolling tho this ha however I’m not on Facebook so don’t know how to do this privately I’m 40 and old school lol… great to see everyone getting there nails and hair done must all been feeling better. I’m at my cheek up tomoz at Newcastle so having my hair done in morning then gonna try and treat my hubby to lunch has his been great looking after me . I’m back at work next week I hope I’m not sore still then has I won’t get paid for been off I work in a bank and it’s cosmetic they won’t pay you. enjoy your day girls xx

I have made it out the house this afternoon!! Went to a lovely little cafe nearby for cake and a drink. However whilst there could feel myself going very tired and a bit light headed so didn’t stay too long.. came home and straight away had another nap! Unfortunately to get out and about my hair had to be tamed and the only person around was my other half. I showed him how to brush the top parts back so that I could have it half up/down and he managed to put a clip in to hold it… can’t say I looked the best I’ve ever looked but it did the job! Is anyone else struggling still with pulling trousers up/putting jackets/dressing gown on etc?! Find it so frustrating !

Paula glad the heat packs are working I must get some for my back. My back was waking me up more than my boobs during my nap.
Fab news that you’ve sorted your dress. Made me laugh all the things you are getting done this week.. that was me before my op (bar the nails of course)… eyebrows tinted and waxed, lashes on etc!

Stephanie hopefully you’ll be back to your normal self before you go back to work. Lunch out sounds good i may attempt that tomorrow.

These heat patches are the best thing ever!!! Got it across the top of shoulder blades I feel normal at last I do get tired easily too but that’s because of lack of sleep I pinched the idea of asking my man out for a meal on Friday to thank him for my boobs and being my nurse and taxi driver hahaha. I still struggle getting dressed it’s not being able to lift my arms but I step into most things. I think I have so much dry shampoo on my hair that it has to be washed now Hope you ladies have had a good day xx

Still to wimpy to take bra off n look
I hold the girls as feel like they going to fall off.
Only get sharp burning pains at top of my boobs when i move now and have full arm movement back
Oh says im black and blue under but as i say ive not actually seen
Bloated like crazy still tho even tho off meds completely today
5dpo n feeling better tried to change into diff bra as was sent home with clean one and it miles to small
Where best to get another or can i just wear sports bra while this in wash??

Back on the ice pack again my right boob is swollen massive again I think only happens when I try and do jobs lol xx my sister in law been to check my boobs today she is nurse… she thinks there are swollen so big cos my sports bra was not fitted straight away I had that put on by my husband 4 hours after op ???????? gonna talk to nurse tomoz about that. Xx

Good to know not just me then still. OH has had to get my jeans on/off today .. just changed now into comfy pants as it’s v annoying if you need the loo! Glad the packs are helping so much that’ll definitely be my task for tomorrow.

Hi Cathy I know what you mean about feeling like they’ll fall off. I hate taking my bra off as I feel the same and feels so uncomfortable without support. Not sure what bra you’ve been given but I’ve got a back fastening M&S high impact sports bra on .. you can get a 2 pack black/white for £30 and they’ve been really good. My surgeon suggested back fastening as he thinks that some front ones can be a little unsupportive where the zip is… not sure how true this is though as most surgeons do seem to suggest these?! Anyway could be a cheapish option for you xx

Oh no Stephanie hope you’re ok, take it easy don’t rush into things too soon. I woke up with my bra on but not sure what the norm is? Also have one small band around the wound areas that goes all the way round so can’t see what’s going on there yet. Don’t think I want to see either lol! I can’t tell what’s swelling and what’s not at the moment xx

I just have normal sports bra whilst I was Macon one its mile more comfortable too It’s my right one that’s swollen too but it does hurt me to take bra off but my boobs where so stretched when I feed my three I feed them all for a year too so that 3 yr of stretching so I am not probably feeling the fullness like you ladies but I remember it when boobs used to fill up and when I gave up feeding I don’t want the swelling to go down now or them to move I like them as they are I wonder why they left you without bra on for 4 hrs Stephanie I don’t know if it makes a difference but the put mine on after 10 mins

I agree with you all trying to put clothes on .. my hubby put some leggings on me it was a right laugh then my daughter put two plaits in.my hair I look like a very old teenage wanna be, omg then they both took to asda for a few bits which i did not enjoy i came home and went to bed for 2 hours to recover. Xx so please you are all feeling better its nice that we all at same stage of recovery or there abouts. Xx

Awww steph that sounds rubbish. My bra was put on pretty much straight away also. I do keep changing mine daily but they do feel like they are going to fall off when they aren’t supported xxx

Had to change into normal sports bra to sleep the other one is hurting my wounds hope the don’t droop Glad you managed to get out Stephanie it does take it out of you though but it will get easier. Had to take pain killers for first time today just so I can sleep sitting up!!!

First day I’ve woke up without any pain at all. Mh boobs don’t feel like concrete stick to my chest and my back feels ok. I think the more active I’m becoming the better I feel. BTW I drove yesterday as well xx

How was driving Kelly? I’ve not dared yet but I had a long walk around Blackpool zoo with the kids and hubby yesterday and I walked to my dentist appointment in the afternoon as well. The pain is different now. Shooting and stabbing pains but only in the right boob! Anyone else finding one hurts and one is fine?

Paula the hospital is nice the staff are friendly but no if you need to stop overnight partners can’t stay Good luck with op Hun. Jess my left one is the one with stabbing pains now it was the right but they have swapped at least it’s not both at the same time x

Well done driving Kelly I don’t think I’ll even be contemplating that until next week with the way I’ve been feeling! How was it?

Not sure if this will help any of you but I put a cushion under my thighs last night as I was sleeping and it made a big difference to lower back pain. Felt like the pressure was taken off my back a little bit.

Jess I’ve been getting more pain in my right since op day. Left has never been that bad but the past few days I’ve started getting twinges and some stabbing pains in it.

Good luck with your consultation today Nicola. Paula try not to worry about your op, if you’ve wanted this for a while it’ll be the best decision you make! There’s no better feeling than waking up to nice boobs lol!

Driving was OK but I have full mobility in my arms again… I wouldn’t recommend trying until you do as I experienced the odd twinge (only like the ones when you feel movement in your boob) xx

I hav epretty much full use arms bk but if i do too much have pain in my sternum n my arms tingle
Frustrating but have my appointment tomoz at 11:30 so will have dressing changed and hopefully told i can drive again x
Sleeping a nightmare mum poor tush in agony n i have alot of junk in my trunk so shocked its so uncomfortable lol x

How are we all girls?

Feeling nearly normal again. Still got pain and aches in my right boob. Nurse said she had no concerns and it’s likely I’m slightly overdoing it as I’m right handed so that’ll be why my left is fine. Trying to relax and let my left hand do a bit of work ????

Also I drove a mile or so to Tesco express for a loaf and bottle of milk, so I’m getting back to normal.

Had my one week check up and the nurse was pleased. When I took my bra off though I felt like I needed to hold them up, anyone else feel that way? I normally run ling distance and I just can’t imagine ever being able to again! Only thing that’s not going too well at the mo is I was told not to shower yet as one of my incisions was still a bit scabby (eww)

Sounds like you’re doing really well Jess ! I’ve heard that about the dominant hand side being the side to drop last and I think it’s happening to me as well as I’m right handed and my right boob is sitting slightly higher than my left and gets much tighter in the mornings. Glad your check up went ok, won’t be long until your incisions close completely so hold in there! Know exactly what you mean about when you take your bra off…mine feel achy and very odd like they might fall off?!

Fab news that you’ve driven too. I’m not quite at that stage yet.. still can’t get a t shirt over my head etc so living in shirts! I had my check up today and the nurse was pleased. Both incisions have stayed intact no gaps so can bathe/shower, no bruising at all on one side but a little yellow bruising around the other incision. Haven’t dared look yet myself as I know it’s going to sicken me … hate looking at anything slightly gory! I have to start massaging them with cream now too. Did you ask about sleeping? I asked my nurse and she said I can now start to lower myself (still sleeping on back) so hopefully will start to get a better night’s sleep? ! Pain wise in general I’m fine now just stiff and tight and really achy in the night and when I wake up. Cut painkillers down a lot although today was more uncomfortable… I had some form of padded bandage put over my incisions and I must have tensed so much as the nurse was pulling it off today that the rest of the day I felt really tight and short of breath (not had that for a good few days) .
