2pm admission time for a day case!?!?

Ive just got my admission time and its 2pm!!! Surely this is late seing as im a day case? What time will I get to go home? I wanted to be one of the first on the list 🙁 xxx

That sounds like a really late admission time for a day case! Mine was 7 and I was the first to go down so I was discharged at 4 xxx

if there’s loads of day cases on your day then someone has to be later which is annoying 🙁 i’m not sure about what time you’ll be allowed home xx

no its not 🙂 because you don’t have general you will be out by early evening! Ive requested a late on, maybe half 3ish, and they said i will be out and home by 8 🙂 x

Hi Stacey I had sedation and my admission time was 9:30 and was on my way home 1:30 so only 4 hours in total and 2 of that I was in theatre. So if you are like me you could be on your way home at 6ish x

Its annoying because my pc said she woukd put me down as wanting to be one of the first and I paid my deposite start of november and final amout end of november I musta been on of the first to book the date, I dont wanna be getting home at bed time, im having general anaesthetic so they wont let me out straight away 🙁 what time am I likely be having my operation if my admission is 2pm? Xxxx

Hi I had mine done last Friday and although my admission time was 10am they were so busy I didn’t go to theatre until 4! I was really annoyed and wished I’d had a later admission time! I walked out of there at 8.15pm later than I had wanted as my husband had to bring our 3 children with him to pick me up!
They said I had to stay 4-6 hours after the op due to the general but I had eaten had a drink and managed to get myself dressed and to the toilet so they let me go, all depends how you are after it really xx

I had 400cc overs moderate + with mr Singh, until I had my strapping off I wasn’t sure I liked them lol but what a difference now they have been released! I know they still need to drop and fluff as they say but iv actually got boobs! 🙂 I was a 32-34 a to start I’m in a 34d sports bra ATM ! What are you having? xx

Oh no at least u got a phone call today rather than Monday though :-/ I’m sure I’ve read on here somewhere somebody calling their PC and getting someone on an earlier time to swap…it’s worth calling and asking I think. I would have done that myself but I initially asked for a later time but realised now I’d probs prefer to be first so can leave earlier. Never mind xxx

Imean in a way its better because I dont have to rush around in the morning, but then because its late I have no idea what time my op will be, wether they will be on time or running late or what time im going wake up or anythig 🙁 I hate ringing up to change things haha I might just leave it xxxxx
