My op is tomorrow and I have an admission time of 2pm. I’m sooo scared and it doesn’t help how late in the day I am! Anyone know what time I can expect to be out etc? And should I get up early to eat or try and sleep in as much as possible? Thanks girls! Xx
hi hun i had 2pm admission time, i went down for op about half 3 and went home about half 8 it goes so quick i feel like i only watched TV for about an hour in total aha. I got up and ate about half 7 then just chilled doing stuff round the house until i left, couldnt get back to sleep once i was up. i thought i would be starving but it wasnt that bad, i got a bit hungry at about 12 but it passed and youre too busy thinking about the op. Aw thanks hun! I think I’m gonna have to eat something haha. Will just keep myself occupied to take my mind off it. At least coming out late I’ll be able to get straight to bed and sleep it all off haha. Thank you and hope you’re healing well! 🙂 xxx
My admission time was 12 and I didn’t end up going down until about 3.30. I didn’t eat a thing and was fine, just keep yourself occupied. There will be nurses in and out of your room too so you don’t tend to think about the hunger too much x
