Can anyone give me some reassurance…
I’m 2 weeks post op. Had 300/325 HP overs. Stopped taking pain relief on day 2 as was ok.
My right which has the 325 is absolutely fine, I can barely tell the implant is there but since 10DPO on the left I have pain still. Feels like constant nerve ending pain you get at start. No bruising, no infection in scar but sore to touch at top.
Is this normal?
Hi!! I had 325 HP overs. I am 15DPO and my left still feels heavy/tight whereas my right one feels perfect! My natural left boob was always slightly smaller than my right so I am putting it down to the fact it is working harder to accept the implant! Try not to worry, as there is still so much time to heal! xx
I had 400 unders 12th June. Minimal pain, if any, just heave pressure feeling. Stopped pain killers at 1 week (paras and ibuprofen) then 2 weeks p.o. arrived and I got a sharp stinging pain in my left one at the side. Stung when I moved, touched it etc but like you no redness, not hot, no infection. Had 2 wk p.o. appt (not mya) and he said no infection, pain not to worry about.
I was really annoyed given first 14 days were not much bother. I’m 3 weeks p.o. today and I think the pain has gone today!!!
I think it was nerve pain.
What you have sounds like what I Had, sure all ok. Keep an eye out for any hotness or redness but otherwise just be gentle and sure it’ll pass xx
Thanks ladies for your comments.
Yesterday afternoon was awful, left felt worse than day 2/3 ?
Sarah that sounds exactly the same, all being ok but then from day 10 feeling like this. I’m really hoping it’s just the nerves given I exclusively breast fed that side with my son!
Hey, so I had 400 overs on the 9th of last month so im 25 days p.o … I’ve had minimal pain (if any) and was off the pain relief by day three….. had my first follow up on the 25th and was told everything was healing perfect, swelling was almost gone and I was very soft already …. anyway I did notice by about 10days p.o that my right breast was far more sensitive to touch… not painful but almost like a burning or bruising feeling but I haven’t experienced any visable bruising, I mentioned it at the follow up and was told it is completely normal for one breast to feel a little more tender than the other and should settle between 4-6 weeks … its nerve endings repairing and skin stretching etc. I haven’t gotten full feeling back yet (nipples still numb) … so I”m not fretting its still early days …. I’ve got kids and have been pretty active from day one and my right side is my dominant side (I’m right handing) so I’m thinking that has something to do with it too prob just need to take it a little slower … can take up to 12 weeks or more to heal so its just a waiting game now …. hope you all are loving your results ?
@Sin thanks so much for sharing your experience.
It’s so hard not to worry at every little thing. Today I can see the left has swollen back up on top but like you no visible sign of bruising.
Weirdly I’m right handed so use that side the most. I’ve also not really rested given I have 2 small kids so I’m trying to take it easy to get the swelling down ?
?? it all works out!
I have kids too… maybe it’s because us mum’s can’t rest so we tire them out more! ? sounds just like me with the burning / stinging pain but no visible sign of anything. Today is first day I haven’t felt it since 14 days p.o. so hopefully it’s gone x
